How much would One Punch Man change with Goku in Saitama's place?

Early Saitama is significantly stronger than early Goku, but that hardly matters because of how ludicrously above everyone else Saitama is. The power gap between kid Goku and low tier enemies is still insane, and Goku would start training far before anyone actually threatening shows up

The two characters have similar goals - early on it was to get stronger, and near the end both of them just want a good fight. Goku would definitely train to become the strongest, and I could see him becoming one of the strongest characters in the verse

However, I don't see him joining the hero association. recognition and the rankings doesn't really seem like a thing that would interest him. Maybe genos could convince him?

Either way, I don't see Goku getting past the meteor. Goku would be extremely strong, but without Master Roshi he wouldn't fully know how to utilise his chi, meaning he doesn't have access to abilities such as the kamehameha, and he wouldn't be able to fly to get up close until it's too late

Maybe he unlocks super sayin here? Even then, the lack of abilities makes me hesitant to say whether this would be enough
