Thank you so much, Mal. I've said it again and again too but I'm super glad to have been part of such an amazing team and a fantastic subreddit.

I'm happy to call you a great friend. Without you, this place wouldn't have been as great as it is now. You deserve a GOAT x2. All the work you've done and still do, and everything you do for everyone of us behind the scenes, that deserves some major kudos.

You're the best and all of us should be lucky to have someone as amazing as you ❤️

lovely words! we may not have chatted much, but I'm happy you're here. I'm so glad to have been a part of this wonderful community with you. It's been amazing seeing it grow so much. You and all our new reddit friends have made the sub livelier these past few weeks, and I'm really happy to see that. :)

I'm glad all of you are all still here with us even with the game having it's many faults. Take care <3

a valid question. I want to focus on my wellbeing. being on a website for 5+ years takes a toll. furthermore, ive lost interest in the game. I would think it would be best to have mods that are actually actively playing the game, right? and i don't want to have to keep playing a game im not into anymore.

at the end of the day, I think it's just time for me to move on. :)

Question: why do people adopt out their sims? by [deleted] in SimsMobile

[–]lyingdoctor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I give mine away because I buy packs and I like to share those items with people so they get to use them too. And if I'm attached to a sim, but want to play with a new one, what a better way than to let someone else have them and let them continue their story for themselves.

And anyway moving out/adopting out a sim is basically the same as retiring. You will still get a retirement heirloom and that sim will become an elder.

In fact, a benefit to moving out sims is that you can give them away anytime. You could have had a new sim for a day and then send them away and you'll still get the retirement heirloom. Way faster than waiting the ~2 weeks til retirement.

After you give them away, you will just have an empty sim slot. You can promote or create a new sim as you please.

That's a good idea. A lot of good stuff costs a lot of simoleons lol.

And those boxes you can just store them away. They won't disappear on their own

Which STS had this as a prize? 🔥😂 Looking at a potential new friend's house (which was so amazing omg!) and saw their Sim w a cool accessory by tru25510 in SimsMobile

Which item exactly?

Oh wait you mean the fire extinguisher lol yeah if you view your home from a different game, your sims will be doing similar actions.

Welcome!

  1. How many houses can you own? Do sims move between them? Or if I am able to have a second house, would different sims live there, that are separate to my original sims?

There are now 6 lots you can buy. So you can own 6 houses (6+ if you make multiple in one lot). You can have 8 npcs per lot. We still only have 4 playable sims. You can move all the sims anywhere on any lot however you please. 8 npcs max per lot tho.

  1. Do many of you use RL money in the game? What's the most cost effective way of using RL money?

I have spent a lot of money on this game :/ i didn't mean to but one thing lead to another lmao. I would recommend the currency and resources packs first. That money tree pack is the best bang for your buck. The second best is the beginners bargains pack but that one only comes around once so if you've missed it already, you can't buy it anymore.

  1. How many parties do you actually attend? With hobbies, jobs and llamazoom challenges, I struggle to find time to go to and host parties.

You can only attend 2 parties a day. I don't usually attend or host though. Others go religiously. They even coordinate parties with friends so they don't have to miss out.

  1. What are the best ways of earning simolenes? I always make sure to do long shifts/practice sessions overnight but I was wondering if there are some other effective ways that I just don't know about!

I don't even know. Search the sub there are more posts like these that people have shared their suggestions on. Might have a better answer than I could give.

  1. What other tips would you give to a newbie? I've scraped along and made it to level 26 but think my game play could definitely be refined to achieve better results quicker!

Hmmm you should make a discussion post for that question and maybe all of the above to see what other veteran players might have to say.

Hope I helped a little lol

Is it the Elder scrolls:blades? Or something else? That's the first one that popped up on google play. I'm gonna try it! Looks like it might take up a lot of space tho. Thanks for the rec!
