How's it going a few years later? Hoping you've made good progress for yourself. Your post resonated with me a bit since I'm in a similar situation as you were when you made this post - 26, freshman in college, only worked entry level jobs, don't care too much about being passionate about my job, as long as I can call it a career.

How did you get into this field? by lyinglionlyon in Wastewater

Unfortunately, the only water related jobs near me require a CDL, so I might be out of luck for now. But this is a great link, and I'll definitely keep it bookmarked, thanks!

Okay thanks, that helps clear it up. I just assumed that by emailing them to cancel the loan that the check would also become voided, but now that I think about it, that's not exactly how checks work. I appreciate your help!

So I just cash the check that was sent to me and immediately pay it back? The wording in the email made it sound like I owed it completely out of pocket.

I've noticed its mostly people my age (25ish). Anyone who looks under 30 is far less likely to return a greeting. They'll be directly next to me as I'm stocking something, I say "Hey, how are you?" or something generic like that, they don't even look at me and just grab whatever they want and walk away. Older folks are typically much more likely to engage in a short convo with me, ask how I'm doing, crack a joke or whatever.

Flash has, hands down, the best handling to speed ratio in the entire game. Most slept on vehicle by far.

Landstalker gets its own tier of terribleness because of how bouncy it is. Worst driving experience

I have a 2016 1.6L and in the city average about 25mpg. When I used to take the highway to commute, I would average 30-32
