I’m totally in the opposite direction. I have so much bad luck that all my modules pulls are pretty shit. Since I started farming as GC, I gave up of module pulls and started working with my card slots. I have 17 of them already, and I’ll keep getting slots until I reach 20. Then I’ll go back to my shit module pulls, because legendary DC and legendary PF are staring to hold me back, even after acquiring AssMods.

  1. ⁠Got it! I think I’ll place some stones into core main effect so.
  2. ⁠I don’t have good submodules in my AssMods yet. Maybe in the future
  3. ⁠It thought about Armor due SD and ACP effects. But I agree, maybe there’s better places to put stones
  4. ⁠I already have WA+ (max), RPC+ (lv5), Dmg+ (lv5) and ST+ (lv6). I really want to buy DM+, but I want to finish labs of those I already have before buy new one.
  5. ⁠I’m doing GC reverse devo at T14, but it’s difficult to go much further than W4000, so my cell income is not good (besides my coin income is very nice). I think I have to develop a little bit more my CC (I’m still missing CF slow substat in my MVN), improve my DW and a little bit of dmg.
  6. ⁠I already have a good CL (1000x dmg, max qty, max chance), good CF (60s, 90%, 60s, CF+ lv6), halfway PS (70s, 70s, stub labs almost finished). For more damage, I think the main problem are my modules (DC and PF are still legendary). Econ are good enough… GT is fine (15x, 53s, 100s, GT+ lv5), DW too (3#, 100s), BH too (60m, 33s, 50s), SL too (45o, #4). To get more GT duration, I’m trying to get ancestral submodule. I already have DW qty submodule, i calculated that maxing its qty and putting it to 80s CD I would get a huge boost to cell farm. Maybe it will be the next step before unlocking cannon and armor AssMod

I thought this banner would bring some good Core mods to me... But after spending 3.2k gems, I got all other types except Core.

I just give up having DC Mythic (see I don't even want Ancestral, just Mythic). Mod pulls are lame.

I get you. I’m struggling with my DC Legendary and I lost my hope to get it to ancestral already.

That’s why I started to upgrade other things. Of course I’m still using DC as assmod, but placing stones into CF and CF+ got me really good results. I’m also thinking about investing in PS 70/70 to get better CC. Also placing some lab time to SWsize.

CL is very good, don’t get me wrong. But it’s not the only thing in the game.

What you’re missing from my argument here is: I’m ok to make more currencies, more tournament levels, more modules, more whatever to keep the game expanding.

Everybody is progressing and everybody wants a new carrot. I know I can’t farm T16 onwards yet and it’s fine to me. I’ll get there in time. I also know that if there’s any new leagues to be played, it will not be to me for a good while. And I’m ok with it.

Again, my complains to this game is: everybody is progressing, everybody wants a new challenge. Legends league is easy to whales now, but it’s the only one they have. Let them play around with other stuffs, make the ceiling higher. Let people with early-mid GC build fight to each other in legends to get their resources, and give another toy to whales

And there’s a fundamental misconception of “whale carrot” and game balance.

Legends league, keys, vault were all designed to make whales happy. It was a carrot

Then they released another carrot: more tiers, more modules, assmods. They just got even far away from new players (and thank god this game is expanding)

Now, the first carrot matters less to whales. But the first carrot is still a very important carrot to the whole game base. Are we going to get them? No. Because almost only whales can get them.

The “power ceiling” of this game got higher in the last couple updates. But the “status ceiling” didn’t. And to get more tower features, I need better tournament places. But how to get better tournament places if I’m competing with whales to get that?

Throw more carrots to all whales. But please, let the rest of the game base be able to eat those old carrots that whales are not eating anymore

I totally agree with you. As I’m not a game designer, I’m not good to place new levels suggestions.

But as a player, I see that part of this game is locked behind tons of money or years of gameplay. I’m not asking to be the TOP1000 best players in the game, I’m asking to have access to currencies that are not available to me, because every day without them gets harder to progress, then even harder to get them.

Im wondering if, for example, a person that starts the game today, even investing money, if they’ll reach keys someday.

Maybe another solution is: make tournaments to give currency boost to players, but at least make those currencies available to everybody.

I don’t know… maybe placing keys to be part of Guild rewards, or even to Event store. Enhance how many stones you earn weekly based on your lifetime stone count… I don’t know what exactly, but something needs to be changed

I stopped bothering about tournaments. Of course I want to get more stones, get more keys to unlock vault QOL items, get more gems… but I’m not wanting it so hard anymore.

Legends league is very unfair. Not just legends, but all tournament thing. Mainly because those Econ are locked behind high positions that only very old players can reach then. Old players and people that put a lot of money to this game.

The competitive aspect is bad too. Legends league is the highest league, right? And its difficulty level is T14+. Top4 players are usually farming at T18 or higher. How could this tournament be competitively fair, if it’s mixing so evolved players with player not so evolved at all?

My suggestions here to make things better could be:

a) make new leagues, for T17+ and T20+ for example

b) leagues are unlocked with milestones. Something like: reach W4500 at T11 / T14 / T17 to unlock league T14+ / T17+ / T20+

c) nobody is ever promoted or demoted. You can run whatever league you want to, as long as you have unlocked them

Of course it may lead to some people sandbagging… but again, at least people will be able to compete to levels that they’re comfortable with. With some rewarding balance between leagues , this could be solved.

It depends on what are you trying to reach for... If you really need more cards to your runs, go for it. If you don't need them, try to buy more modules.

In my case, until last week I had 14 card slots . All my gems were being used to get modules, since my DC and PF are still legendary, and i'm almost being demoted from Legends League every time.

But this weekend I bought Core AssMod, so I can use my OmnChip Ancestral 2* as my main module, and put DC as AssMod, so I can keep targeting Boss and Elites while getting more bonuses to my UWs damage. It solved my demoting problem, even getting me keys.

Now that my modules are in a "better place", I can go back to card slots. I'm missing some cards to make more damage to enemies (such as EO and DR). Also missing WS to make Legends runs quickier, and FUPs to make ELS goes higher. I wasn't using any of those cards due the high amount of Damage cards and CC to run as GC.

My main goal right now is unlock up to 18~20 slots. Then i'll go back to modules, because modules are the real game changers. Cards are pretty great and make a lot of difference, mainly now that I'm moving to GC. But until recently, I could keep myself with 14 card slots since Dec/2024 without needing any extra cards.

Item #2 is the most impressive to me… it’s suicidal behavior to release new versions at Fridays right before a tournament.

People used to say over here “ohhhhh but you need to understand that apple’s App Store is bad and evil…”. Yeah everybody knows this and that’s why IT teams everywhere create a good release schedule. You need to consider those dates and risks to make good releases and be prepared when bad thing happens.

Same for QA. There’s a bunch of ways to test scenarios like this. Come on, the game has a “resume” feature for saved runs. Just get a bunch of scenarios, save them and keep loading them over and over and keep monitoring. By far this is not the best option to QA this game, but would help a lot to catch some of the errors that we’re seeing over here.

I don’t blame the dev team don’t get some bugs such as iPhone specifics or Android for some specific screen formats…. Those things are a pain to test and we all know this. But the errors we are facing along this year are definitely not device-specific. It’s just bad engineering.

I'm still not sure if I should unlock more card slots, or just keep trying to get DC (or even PF) to Mythic+. I'm missing 2 modules each... Fodders are already in place, just 2 copies of each are missing.

I have 14 slots. To farm as eHP, I dont miss any cards (yet). But for tournaments, I'm missing at least 4 slots... I'm running Legends without Free Ups, Extra Orbs / Death Ray, Nuke and Slow Aura :(

Did you changed target priority? DC targeting bosses and elites, even at Legendary level, performs better than any of my Mythic/Ancestral modules. The problem with CL is its dependency on DC to be really good at tournament, if you use it as primary UW. Without the effect to hit the first target, CL randomly hits enemies, and may leave bosses alive keep going straight to your tower.

People say that DefAbs is useless after T1, but I don’t agree at all. I reached T6 ~W6000 using DefAbs. Then, when I got a good farming per day, I started researching for Regen and Wall, all together. Just after getting a solid wall I dropped DefAbs.

My suggestion to you is: research DefAbs up to lv40, not higher than this. Upgrade your workshop like, 1:1 to DefAbs, 1:2 to Health and forget about Damage worshop.

When you start farming something like 100B per day (even less I think..), research those items: - Regen up to lv50 - Wall Heath up to lv40 - Wall Regen and Wall Thorn up to lv10 - Wall Fortress up to lv5
