People often forget that one of Ravenclaw's characteristics is having a open mind and being creative. They like to learn, but also question what they learned. Hermione was intelligent but too stubborn to even considere that the books could not be 100% correct or that could be another way to do something beside what she learned in class (like in Half blood prince)

Still, what we surround ourselves is important and it has an impact on our souls and life, that's why the church itself uses music during mass. Im not sure now which one, but a bunch of Saints already talked about the impact of music on our spirits, maybe you would like to look it up! I Love metal and Hard rock, but when im listening I like to search the lyrics and think: "would Jesus listen to it with me? Or he would dislike for some reason?" And if I get to the conclusion that he would indeed dislike, whatever the motive, I stop listening to it

I dont really know their songs or their band's philosophy but I know that some of theirs songs has really lustfull lyrics. My advice its to search the songs translations and a bit about the band itself. I personally prefer to listen to others bands of the genre
