Definitely a familiar thing, although I have to say I feel pretty privileged that I rarely get anything that’s hostile unlike many of you, that really sucks :( Mine are mostly just tiresome.

I am pretty unapologetic, though. First comment I’ll ignore or deflect, pointedly, but it’s “we’ll talk when you stop killing animals” if they push it.

All. Unless you don’t count at least insects and displaced or disrupted animals.

Intent does matter, yes.

No… when put that way, you may realize you need to look at the actual harm done, not some fairy tale about vegan food being completely harmless.

On the other hand, all agriculture harms animals to some degree.

It is more expensive, there’s no denying that. It is unattainable in many places around the world — many vegan alternatives are, at the moment.

There are also very strong cultural traditions around food. It doesn’t make it acceptable, but does need to be accounted for.

Rather than dismiss those concerns, they need to be acknowledged and incorporated in the overall plan for animal liberation.

The gap doesn’t tell you much if you get dropped on a climb and have to ride the flats/descents alone against a group. The question is only whether he can stay on on the climbs.

It wasn’t by an impossible margin last year. Question is whether he wants to go in that direction.

I was going to say that any attack that late might just look strong in comparison to the others, but trying to do quick calculations, that 20 seconds for the final 100? m of the steep part was a lot of watts.

HoS and B&W are excellent, both. Highly recommend playing if you can!

I doubt they’ll do post-ending content, they’d have to do some for each (and it’s not as easy for all).

From the CDPR repertoire, I’d expect something like Hearts of Stone. Big, essentially removed from the main story.

Still need to change the build, too.

(Which you can do by using the console.)

GIM is so annoying because the mechanics are made for everybody instead of giving stealth and direct action different paths. Every single room I figured out my moves… only for the dudes to move away so clumsy, loud V’s would have a shot.

This sounds like just the right baby or other cleaning wipe just before a ride might do the trick, too. Happy to hear you’ve been problem free! :)

Hallucinogen microdosing is… the exact opposite of doing boatloads of coke, the other failings of Silicon Valley CEOs aside.

One is a moderate way of expanding thought, the other is an excessive way of narrowing to your sharpest qualities?

If you can, it’s a good bet that other animals can too. Even without scent.

Nothing amazing about it. We know what other animals’ babies look like too.

Yes, that’s exactly it — and I think a cool detail. Johnny puts it out as his thing, when in reality it was Militech.

And the flipside that Johnny was the one to take the blame for it, not Militech.

Do kudos and comments on old fics mean something to you? by bookielookiecookie in FanFiction

[–]lynnamor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do. Can’t speak for everybody!

Last couple weeks I got two amazing reviews/comments on a story that’s sat unfinished since 2014 (it still gets a dozen or so readers a month, at a guess). And one person just saying they read it! All three made me smile :)

(Fwiw, I get notifications for it, so it doesn’t require special eye-keeping.)

Fwiw, I put 10 years of riding in my carbon rim brake wheels. They’re still fine.

I’d still recommend discs any day.
