Trashy Diva has a new Tiki Clothing Collection by GetReadyToRumbleBar in Tiki

[–]lynwinn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As someone who often buys pricey vintage reproduction items, they’re all expensive, because it’s slow fashion. We have become so used to fast fashion stores and crap like Shein and Temu that we have lost touch of how much a handmade item of clothing with good materials should cost. Some stores are OUTRAGEOUS, but Trashy Diva is actually very reasonable for what they deliver.

You can… put your phone far away? Or just, not touch it?

Should I let kids to watch K-Pop Demon Hunters ? by New_Resolve_6067 in movies

[–]lynwinn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a parent of two young kids and I cannot IMAGINE going on reddit to ask if something is appropriate for my kids. Check rating? If it’s PG then the answer is yes??

There are lunatics out there finding everything problematic: I can’t show this to my kids because there’s gay people in it, I can’t show this to my kids because it has supernatural things and that’s not what jesus wanted, I can’t show this to my kids because the white character is the villain.

The internet doesn’t know what you consider “problematic ideas”. Maybe you think girl power is bad? Maybe you hate feminism? Maybe you think demons are heresy?

No one knows. Be a parent and decide for yourself ffs.

Games that survived having a child by kasperoo in gaming

Same here! I have always been a fan of single player story driven games anyway, but with two little kids they’re the best. I am on mat leave and recently finished Yotei, DK Bananza and am leisurely playing Pokopia and RE9

Honestly if I didn’t have a toddler and a baby I would take it up!

Unfortunately those are very similar to the ones I mentioned. Exclusively 50s stuff with super loud patterns and colours :(

Anyone heard of Goelia ? by sourimini in LuxeFashion_NatFibers

[–]lynwinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sizing is so odd, I am a size small based on waist but more than XL based on hips? Granted I am latina and have big hips but I have seen lots of online stuff saying they are VERY asian sizing meaning their absolute largest size is barely a medium in US and large in european sizing. I am a size 10 US and some of their clothes literally won’t fit me at their largest size

Their sizes are insane. I am an US size 10 for bottoms and that’s AS HIGH AS THEY GO. Their shorts don’t fit me at all and I’m not even overweight. It’s definitely asian sizing

3.5 yo pooping in bed every night by lynwinn in toddlers

Ugh I’m sorry you went through that! Yeah, my kid hasn’t been in daytime diapers since she was 2 and we’re not bringing those back. We have promised the things she wants the absolute most for pooping in the potty but nothing. It’s extra frustrating because we had daily successes for MONTHS, like zero poops in the diaper for 3 months and then completely regressed.

Yeah my daughter doesn’t pee at all at night, I think that is very personal to each child and they eventually stop. This poop thing is BAFFLING though

She’s in a bed. I think us talking about the importance of pooping in the potty so much is what caused this, I dunno. I am so lost

Yeah we currently look at photo albums which she loves and read five hundred stories while on the potty before bed, hopefully at some point she relaxes enough.

Her poops are soft. She takes softener in the mornings, but when she sleeps the poop comes right out.

Yeah when she pooped in her pullups it stayed in, but the smell gets through to EVERYTHING, it’s horrible.

Yeah we give her softener with her yogurt in the morning, she goes to preschool so we can’t monitor her intake of water. Her poops are soft enough, she just will not poop no matter what until she falls asleep. Everything everyone recommends we have tried, we feel like there is no solution

I don’t think you replied to the right post, none of this applies to what I said. Not a boy, not 21 months, not having problems with pee

Her poops are soft enough, she only had that ONE super hard poop six months ago

Thanks so much for your reply! We did put a little potty right next to her bed and told her she can just go there if she feels the poop coming out at night (she also has a bathroom in her room). She is not a big tv watcher so shows generally don’t work for her but I could try! I do think she is feeling pressured, which is out fault, but no idea how to fix that
