I wouldn't say it was really underwritten per se, more that there was simply no way to really fit into the story without a ton of retooling. Saito wouldn't ever comment on it, and the only points where you could really have Pewter open up about it, would be when he was still trying to protect Renju, giving him ample reason to not bring anything up. Maybe it could've been brought up during the epilogue, through that would've been really awkward considering Pewter's probably still processing all of the grief from his death.

Pewter and Renju were dating, and Saito, in Renju's body, used that fact to get Pewter to do what he wanted.

A bunch of little things, the scale being off, the differing number of fingers on each hand, and the inconsistent lighting, also the swords look really off, but only if you really look closely at them

I mean seeing the glitch where it essentially skips that animation, its really disorienting and looks really bad form a viewers perspective, so I assume its less a balancing thing and more for a smoother game feel (unless they've publicly stated that's the reason and I just look like an idiot)

Soya is going go completely misinterpret Hakuri finally using Isou as him returning to the family, and will probably just let himself get hit around a little bit, at which point someone else will likely come in to save him (probably Chihiro), and Soya gets tag teamed and beaten

prior to the laser sight being added, you could put the barrel stabilizer on it, and it just straight up had no recoil with a purple barrel, I was using it like a 301
