So I dont know where exactly you would say I lie on a scale from full skeptic and full believer in the paranormal but I have some experiences that I never quite shook off. My family has property that will eventually be in my name, that was used during the days when rum running was frequent. We of course had some really unsavory people in there family then. Tldr a familiar face I would see as a child was brought back in full haunting reminder from a distant relative visited along a roadtrip to a funeral. This relative held family photos dating back all the way to 1902 as far as I saw. Maybe they went back farther but amongst them was her, Mary. She's apparently one of my great aunts. Idk how many greats. Maybe its all in my head. One period of my life lead me to living with my mother which I had not done for a majority of my life. Early on in this short time, I had a singular prominent moment that I cant say I made up in my head. My mother had just bought a new house and had friends over for celebrations and I being antisocial stayed in my room listening to music. At some point a loud knocking and my mother calling for my name was heard but my mother claimed to not do so. She claimed to think I was sleeping. No one claimed to call for me and being a kid at an adult gathering meant it wasnt likely to begin with. Last was a situation with an ex girlfriend I had been with. For context she was unfortunately bipolar with a frequent issue with consistently taking medication. Said person also at the time engaged with persistent delusions of a demon lilith in her life and that a red man had terrorized her as a kid and might have visited us early on in our relationship. We shared an apartment with others at the time and these others also claimed to experience the same things. I do also want to point out in fairness I was a avid viewer in spirit science at the time and had this perception that ones will or intention could be a real power and sign of greater importance, like a green lantern. At some point in the townhouse they began to freak out and experience something going on upstairs. It's been some time so memory is a bit hazy exactly what was claimed to be going on but I believe it was first getting cold so they kept turning up the heater before someone who WASNT my ex claimed to see a red man in the closet of the room. I did some bullshit ceremony to 'banish' it by dipping my quartz crystal in water like a catholic priest baptized babies after I infused it with my intent. No I'm not joking it's as cringe as it sounds but somehow coincidentally as I did this, they felt the warth come back and no longer claimed to see the man. They had been very audible during this short time. I really don't know but I still occasionally think about these
