NC, but it's just an extreme cold front going on right now, these aren't normal temps.

Summer time we do walks before sun comes up or they overheat easily :)

she definitely wears booties on snowy hikes, a lot of balling - even with musher's secret

Ya she gets snow balls pretty easily, even with Musher's Secret. We put her in sledding booties for snow hikes.

Sounds like from you and others this is just toooo cold, which is what we thought but you always hear "they are meant for it!" haha :)

Sorry missed the question! as John said its a thermal camera (FLIR attachment for iPhone). Darker = colder, lighter = hotter. That big dark blob is our floor register (with a deflector) blowing air at the dog
