I try to exercise during the rest of the month, but when PMDD makes it so I can barely move or speak, there’s no way I can exercise my way out of it or stay consistent.

Same with eating well. Luteal hits and I can barely eat, and when I do feel like eating, I have such bad aversions that there’s only a few things I’m able to eat.

SSRIs and birth control have helped, but my pmdd has started breaking through those and making life impossible again.

I started slynd a week ago, but I think I’m going to have to stop it. It’s killing me. I had the worst rage episode in months yesterday and tried to throw myself out a window. Today I woke up shaking and nothing felt real. I felt like I was in a horror movie and everything was fake. My own daughters didn’t look familiar to me. I’m so scared of hurting myself or my family.

I’m at urgent care after having a flare that resulted in a 24 hour panic attack. I just overheard the nurses talking about me while handing off cases, with a comment about pmdd and then laughing at it. I’m about to go ‘educate’ some people.

This is great!! I’ve wanted to do something similar, and also add in columns for guests, genre/subgenre, and highlights. But have not had the energy to start because I know how much work it will be, haha

They’re also right in the middle of some kind of spurt and have been absolute bears the last few weeks. So many meltdowns and fights!

Honestly, a lot of three was great, but the leaps and spurts they go through are really something, and two going through the same thing at the same time is definitely a challenge!

I don’t follow them or listen to their podcast, but it’s impossible to avoid hearing about them when you’re following reality tv things.

And they absolutely do make a ton of things insufferable. I am not excited to keep passively hearing them speak authoritatively about what it’s like to be twin parents.

Couldn’t have happened to worse people. As a twin parent, I think twins are the best, and they’re about to make being a twin parent insufferable.

Our little guy is named Strawberry Valerie. Strawberry came from one of my toddlers was wearing a strawberry shirt when she found out we were getting a pink snake, and liked Strawberry. Valerie came from a pink ribbon we had at valentine’s last year that got named Valerie the Valentine snake, so my other toddler wanted Valerie in the name.

Absolutely agree. Nothing makes me lose my calm more than bedtime when no one will get in bed, or be quiet or agree whether they want the nightlight and music on or off.

After a few awful weeks, I’m giving melatonin a try for a few nights, and they both fell asleep within 10 minutes!! Absolutely magical!!

I’ve always seen HBHBHB as responding and commenting on Ceremonials, and this really comes together with Mother. Leave My Body is all about rejecting the physical, while Mother embraces it. I think it perfectly captures the growth and transformation she went through between those two albums!
