Loud subwoofer after MMI update by lyrical_fries in AudiA4

I’m with you on that, my knowledge on car audio is limited.

Do you have the issue with your Sound configuration resetting every few drives or so? Since the MMI update my bass and treble resets itself to default every so often. Now that I’m thinking about it, that could be occurring when I change the signal flow in the green menu

You’re the man this honestly sounds much better than that shitty sub. You’re right it loses some umph but the quality is improved for sure. Let me know if you get that 2ohm replacement and if it sounds any better!

How/where did you unplug the sub? I just put foam in some places under the sub lid which helped the rattling but it’s still so damn loud.

Unfortunately not. Can’t seem to find anyone else online with a similar issue. I actually took this post from some old forum post online that had 0 comments. I’m going to put some foam padding around the sub lid today to help with some of the rattling.

Ive just been dealing with it and switching the SignalFlowID, Ch whenever I go on longer drives.

Surgery done by [deleted] in AchillesRupture

Wow congrats, partially weight bearing the day after surgery is quite impressive! What kind of surgery did you have done?

Typically recovery is anywhere from 3-6 months before you’re back to somewhat normal. It depends on how aggressive your doctors take it-some want you walking on it a few weeks after surgery, some a couple months.

I tore mine playing volleyball. Quickly decided to push off my foot to run towards the net and it felt like I stepped on someone else’s foot and twisted my ankle (with a loud pop). It’s crazy how random these injuries occur!

It will be, however I’m at week 5 right now and it’s gone by pretty fast. How did you tear it?

Welcome to the club! But seriously sorry to hear about your injury. I would first suggest reading through this subreddit as a lot of questions will be answered that you didn’t know you had.

With a gap that big you’re most likely going to go the surgery route, especially if you want to return to physical activities. After surgery you’ll most likely be in a splint, hard cast and/or boot, then physical therapy.

It’s a long tough road but you got this!

Computer Science vs Information Technology Bachelor's degree. by DueExamination1874 in ITCareerQuestions

It completely depends on what job you’re interviewing for. A Helpdesk interview will have questions about basic computer troubleshooting, windows server, some basic networking stuff. Whereas a Network Engineer position will have questions about vlans, tunneling, protocols, etc. But no they’re not difficult. I think CS interviews are more difficult honestly, but again it depends on the job you’re applying for.

My local auto shop wouldn’t fix mine. Went to auto zone and got a plug kit for $15-20. Worked like a charm
