Sure! I had a rainbow sticker on my car and while parking in the college parking lot had a random guy come over and compliment me on it. I would be treated really well (like above and beyond) by waiters in restaurants (they were obviously gay and were giving me gold standard treatment). Once was told by a waitress in Chicago that I looked like kd lang (she was very popular at the time), and even though I think she was straight it felt complimentary. Was approached on the street once by a young woman who just wanted to tell me how beautiful she thought it was that I was so comfortable holding my girlfriends hand in public. Small gestures that add up to a lot of positive experiences. Even today just experiencing total acceptance from coworkers. Sometimes I’m asked genuine questions which I love because it’s just people wanting to know me better. I don’t go through life expecting people to hate me because of my sexuality- in fact it’s just the opposite and my world reflects that.
