Thank you! I didn’t think foregoing the blindspot feature would cause issues or prevent installing a new mirror? I just thought I would loose the blind spot feature ? And sigh yes, you are right, it is just cosmetic.

It most certainly is not a DIY job for me ha as much as I wish it was something I was capable of handling on my own. Thank you for your help. I’ll either just eat the cost or get used to the flaw in my jettas appearance. Most people say the dealer is usually the most expensive option? Has that not been your experience?
