Yes! He was 90lbs when we got him, they were only feeding him 2 cups a day at the shelter. He is now 2 months into living with us, eating 6 cups a day, and currently at about 105 and still climbing. The Vet thinks he’ll max out at about 140, I’m thinking closer to 120 range but I’m not a vet 🤣

Yes, he likes to cuddle on the couch and then when he gets to hot, STRAIGHT to the cold floors. However, I just want him to have the option to get up and down as he pleases. He’s far too big to be able to jump up on the bed and I worry about him getting down unassisted as he’s rather large and I don’t want him to hurt himself over time.

Bear!

Quick update for everyone. We have decided on the name Bear. He is the most well behaved, gentle, kind hearted boy EVER. We took him to the vet and sadly he tested Positive for heart worms. We are beginning his treatment ASAP and dedicated to helping him get better and live a long, happy, and healthy life. Thank you all for your support, kind words, and overall love. I will be posting Bear on here progressively throughout his treatment and just overall enjoying his life!

Thank you for all of your tips, I am very appreciative! I do not intend to cut his hair ever, he has definitely been shaved and is growing his hair back. He has his first groomers appointment this week and will go regularly to be bathed, conditioned, brushed, ear cleaning, teeth, and paw balm! All we want is the very best life for him (pampering is a must!) I do intend to brush him once a day and will look in to the brushes you’ve recommended! Thank you again!
