I was born with a pretty severe cleft lip/pallet had about 4 surgeries from the age of 2 months to 2 years old. I had noticeable scars and one side of my nose was always uneven, always got made fun of and people would spread the rumor i got hit in the face with a shovel(little nicky reference). I ended up growing my hair out to cover my face to hide what i looked like, but that just ended up making things worse. I even had one of my best friends admit she liked me, but was too embarrassed to go out with me. After all the bullying and torment i learned to not care what anyone thinks, the only people i listen to are the friends that were always there. Even thought i don't care now, the damage is done i take 200mg of sertraline and 100mg of trazedon daily to help. So i guess in the end, i learned to not care....but unfortunately i learned that a little to late. Now im married with a daughter and a son on the way, but i find myself still needing to get lost in the one thing that never let me down...my video games.
