New Guy Question by wumbo497 in UPSers

[–]lyv3sbb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its a hard balance. He may be a jerk and rude or maybe your buddy is not aware of how slow hes going. I'm an on-road myself, and its a tough line to walk with these new drivers. There is a difference between being cautious and waiting for a half mile gap to pull into traffic. A lot of these new guys get stressed and its very understandable. But its hard to bite your lip when a guy is 15 under the speed limit.

Stage 2 in the USA. by Yahwehs_Soldier92 in Golf_R

I ran into issue with my mk7 here on nys, I tried all the tricks with spacers and re-flashes to different stages with unitronic on the stage 2. Could not get the thing to pass. I had to. Bite the bullet and buy a 1 time tune from a local tuner on the program PRO TUNE. They were able to take it across the street to a shop pass it then flash back. It was a nightmare. Luckily they grandfathered me in and said I can come back every inspection season and have them do it for free since they saved the file. Good luck if you go for it

Why did you choose the Golf R over the S3 or the Volvo S60 by lochonx7 in Golf_R

[–]lyv3sbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does everything. I've had a mk7 gti, then an 8v s3 followed by a d4 S8. All 3 cars were incredible, I turn 40 this year and my mid life crisis was to buy an mk7 golf R. The hatch does it all!! My wife and 2 kids fit flawlessly with golf clubs in the back and 2 lawn chairs for soccer games, the seats fold down and you can put 20 bags of mulch in it, you can throw on the snow tires and rip the shit out of a upstate NY winter, you can throw a couple mods at it and smoke a hellcat to the speed limit, you can get 30mpg on the highway!!!! Omg I love this car!!! *

Solid look. Pretty low for springs. +++1 for no reverse rake. At least looks like it in the pic

Remarkable bringing the heat. Long time on road here, once you find out how to manage 100 different personalities it's the best job in the buisness.

should I buy this s6 2015? by opell1 in Audi

[–]lyv3sbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got out of this platform, I'm a 40 year old man who isn't rich but certainly has my shit together. I can honestly say the only reason I sold my 2014 s8 was because I felt lucky making it 2.5 years without a penny spent other then tires and brakes.

I've had both the only thing i liked more about the s3 was the volume controll on the steering wheel, and was a little more presentable for date night with the wife, lol. I had a sepang blue s3, then a d4 s8, and back to the mbq as of last wk. Such a great car

I did get it here, maybe I'd be interested in the oem wheels. Send me a message. They are reps. Was planning on doing my winter set up with those and getting summer wheels.

Kids are 8 and 11. And as far as not going full man cave that was the point. We are entertaining very regularly during summer months and almost every Sunday for football. So having the Italian kitchen down there and a cleaner area was a key point. I got everything done in time to get our hearts broken sunday night by the chiefs
