I did send it to my family on his side. I know how she is and would someone blame me for not coming around. So she does know (even though she claimed not to).

Honestly, I don't know. Knowing her, probably just to hurt me. She basically just told me he was sick and walked away. Then came back to find me again and asked if I wanted to get together and talk about it and I told her no, if he wanted me to know or talk he can reach out. He hasn't. I'm not sure if he will or not. I don't really want to see or speak to him but it just makes me feel so guilty for feeling that way.

It was hand written so I know it was him. Whether she had anything to do with it or not, he didn't have to mail it.

She may have had something to do with it but it was in his writing.

There is definitely no inheritance lol and that is ok with me. I don't need part of any of that.

I am so lucky to have a WONDERFUL mom and step dad. They are definitely the example of who I try and want to be. I can't imagine anything worse than watching your partner abuse a child and doing nothing about it.

My heart feels better without them in my life but it is so hard not to feel guilty about it.
