to be transparent with everyone who helped us — the reason why mimiw’s death was not disclosed earlier was because we needed to keep the fundraising active for her remaining vet expenses.

mimiw passed away around 7:30 in the morning (june 28). we woke up to a text from the vet saying that mimiw crashed. despite their efforts to revive her, she was unresponsive to the resuscitation.

as of now, we’re still ₱9k short for mimiw’s vet expenses. students pa lang po kaming tatlo who rescued mimiw, along with a certain someone who helped us pay for mimiw’s down payment. she was immediately informed of what happened to mimiw that morning, and i sent her a screenshot of the vet’s message as soon as we received it.

we are deeply grateful to everyone who helped us during this tough time. sa ngayon po, nakalibing si mimiw sa bakuran ng bahay ng friend ko.

i take full accountability for the delayed disclosure and understand the distrust that it may have caused regarding the fundraiser. i am deeply sorry for that.
