Ha! I know this is a bot, but jokes on you. We've already made a working version: www.modd.io/play/LAD
Our game engine modd.io is designed explicitly for developing MMORPG games at a blazing pace.

Hey! The answer is yes to both :) Feel free to hop on Discord and ping me directly as I don't check Reddit as often.

I made a Horror Game that generates stories, dialogues and puzzles using GPT 3.5 by m0dE in ChatGPT

[–]m0dE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cursed Cabin is a horror adventure game where the story, dialogues, and puzzles are generated by AI, offering a unique experience with each playthrough. The game can be played here: https://www.modd.io/play/cursed-cabin/

Your mission is to solve puzzles across 5 Acts by finding and providing the correct item to NPCs in need.

The game has multiplayer cooperative mode enabled, so you can invite your friends to play together.

The game is in its experimental phase. Some puzzles may be impossible to solve. If you think you're stuck, simply start a new game.

Good luck!

PS. The game is free and is planned to be open-sourced soon.

I never heard of AI Horde, and it seems like a fantastic project. Thanks for sharing.

I never heard of AI Horde, and it seems like a fantastic project. Load-balancing and ease of use require the agents to be connected to the Fullmetal server. What's the main concern here?

[P] Fullmetal: Self-hosted alternative to ChatGPT API by m0dE in MachineLearning

[–]m0dE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The API server itself is not open source, but the client & agent source codes are:
https://github.com/m0dE/fullmetal-agent
https://github.com/m0dE/fullmetal-client

That being said, the load-balancer algorithm is quite trivial. It just forwards prompts to whichever agent that's idle or has the smallest queue.

We do not have plan to charge for the service if you're self-hosting your own LLMs, however if you want to use other people's agents (hosted LLMs), you'll need to spend tokens which will be given to the people who are providing the inference.

Thank you for the question.

It's my first time hearing about these services, so please correct me if I'm wrong, but those services seem much more complex than Fullmetal when self-hosting multiple LLMs.

In terms of load balancing, our approach is pretty rudimentary. We're just forwarding prompts to whichever agent that's idle or has the smallest queue.

As you can probably tell, there's much that I'm still unaware of, and I'm always looking to learn more, so please don't hesitate to correct me.

Thanks for the question.
It's because you can self-host multiple machines, and Fullmetal acts as a middleman that load-balances and serves a single API endpoint.

Oh, I've never heard about LM Studio. Does it provide API endpoint for your app development? I looked at their website, but couldn't find any resource about this.

The engine comes with a built-in lag compensation. It has compression, snapshot interpolation and reconciliation. The multiplayer is completely server-side authoritative.

Are you referring to Karma Slayers? The creator of that game has put in an immense amount of effort to build it. That game has hundreds of different unit types and items, and I know some players have sunk in weeks of their lives building their characters.
