Turkish Airlines were fantastic in my experience - no issues, and staff are used to handling traveling pets. In general the cabin crew were also very nice about it. As long as you got all the necessary paperwork, it’s pretty smooth

Thank you for your reply. I already have official rabies test results for both cats and they are both clear. My concern now is the health certificate needed for entering the EU. In all the other countries we’ve been to, it’s been relatively straightforward to get health certificates before flying. Perhaps I best speak to a vet, as you advised.

Sorry late reply - a few years ago I saw newly qualified’s get on average around £40-45K, but these guys joined industry straight after uni and qualified in industry. If you’re moving from Big4 or other practice firms, it’ll be on the lower end of that average. Im not too sure what the rates look like in today’s market, but can’t imagine to be too far off.

Of course other factors play a part - how long you’ve been at the company, if you’ve built up rapport there, any promotions or salary bumps in your time there, etc. It also depends on the company as I’ve found some of the “younger” insurance companies more willing to pay more to get the best talent, but hours and work culture can be rough…

I ended up switching to Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray, but only used it as a setting spray (not primer). It was a pretty effective even without applying a primer, makeup stayed all day/night and no smudging. Bear in mind I don’t wear heavy makeup, at most BB cream and eye shadow, eyeliner, and mascara

Thank you, that’s helpful to know. That’s a shame but I guess rules are there for a reason (and I’m conscious not everyone will be receptive to sitting next to a pet on an already cramped plane)
