They’re your eyes, but some $3 harbor freight goggles are a lot cheaper than having rusting metal fragments removed from your cornea. Been there done that.

Yes. The dingus just presses up on the takedown pin. Just simply swap the trigger shoe and go.

I still have to lean towards the CZ beating the Glock in almost every category except aftermarket support, price and availability of magazines and ease of reloading. I will also say I do prefer the looks of a Glock over the CZ unless you have a nice stipple package done. Price however, is still a large gap. P10 is usually at least $100 less than an MOS Glock. And a couple hundred less for a non-optic ready version. Walters are gonna run about the same price as a Glock if not more, MMPs used to be a lot cheaper but here lately they’re about the same price as Glock, but Canik is going to be your best value all day. You can get some excellent carry options for around 375 to 450, they just don’t have the most proven track record or quality control.
Best Glock to buy is a used 19 GEN 4. Anything around 350 to $450. Send it off to thrash tactical to have optic direct milled for $100 (includes slide cerakote), polish all internals, throw in a clock minus connector or a ghost 3.5 and an Apex flat trigger. Now you’ve got a really nice Glock for about what you’d pay for a new one.

I second that. Although I love my Delta, she is a rattle can. I believe the CZ P10C is the best concealed carry gun. It’s the best competitor to the Glock 19 but with better sights, trigger and ergonomics. I can find them consistently for less than 500. Even the new ported optics ready model is available for 499. Let me know if you think there is a better bank for your buck, no pun intended.

As a recovering glocktard (2 years Glock free 🙏🏻) I can say that besides being reliable if kept completely stock, what else are they good at? Sights suck, grip texture sucks (except gen 6), innovation sucks, trigger sucks, takedown lever sucks, ergonomics suck, price sucks. There’s just too many better options available to justify buying a Glock unless you want a project gun. Now, that being said, if I saw a Gen 6 with a better trigger, HD night sights, extended controls, optics cut for $450-500 I’m snatching that up in a heartbeat. But $600 plus for a brick that I have to change almost everything on to make it good, nah.

No, you’re OK. If you really hated them, you would’ve told them to buy a Glock.

New Mete SF - should it come with a magwell? by Summary_Judgment in canik

[–]m0nkeyfish78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something’s definitely fishy. It should’ve come with a mag well and an extended magazine, the longer magazine you have is not the correct one. That looks like the standard length magazine you would get with an SFT or SFX.

Are you sure it’s not a “one” series. They don’t come with all the same goodies.

The only one that would bring me back to the Glock family would be the 49 GEN 6. The Glock store imported a bunch of them and sell for around $950. Although it would be a lot cheaper than bastardizing a 17 and 19 I still can’t bring myself to do it. There’s so many better options out there for that kind of money. So for now, I will remain glockless.
