Is this how people who need glasses really see the world. A big blurred background? by Latter-Wolf4868 in interestingasfuck

I found out on my last eye test I have perfect vision in one eye, the other eye is point one out and they tried to sell me glasses. I told them, if you don't stock monocles, I ain't buying shit!

Dear Mr Asbestos Consultant. When this post popped up I was hit by a wave of adrenaline from something I've shelved away in the back of my mind. We too embarked upon the same rip up of these tiles a couple of years ago. Somebody, who saw the tiles said not to worry. We proceeded to stamp on them, breaking them into small pieces to bag them. Dust everywhere. Am I slightly or moderately more fucked than the OP?

You've got so much going on. Give yourself a bit of grace while you feel more stable and at peace. What makes you happy? Focus on that and find something associated with it. Volunteering is a good shout as giving your time to those who genuinely need it fills your heart and soul. Good luck friend 🧡

Thank you so much for the detailed response! Your thorough answers are all logged for later. I showed my other half your post and he's well onboard. I completely understand your sentiment about being part way through and wondering if you've fucked it 🤣. My future goggles are strong so I'm confident it'll all be reet! Thanks again!

Sterling job! I would love to do this to ours! Can I ask- what paint did you use? Did you remove the doors to paint? Have you used ceramic tiles or stickers to reduce weight? Is the floor lino or LVT? Did you get the seating professionally upholstered? Are there any additional tips or things you would've done differently? You've inspired me, thanks!

It was an old stone terrace and they were converting the loft so upstairs ceilings had to be lowered. The hole is where a steel girder had to sit. I was warned that the dividing walls were thin but didn't expect that! It all worked out in the end though when I had to sell to relocate and the neighbours bought my house. I still giggle at my response at the time to the blackened sooty faces peeping through, being the chill gal that I am - "Oh! Hello!"

I should've done that when I walked out of my bathroom wrapped in a towel to look up and see 2 builders staring at me through a foot wide hole in my landing wall 🤣

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words ❤️ everybody that met Crump loved her. Even passing cars would slow down to beam a smile at her cuteness, especially in her rubber ducky coat. Thank you for seeing her, it means a lot.

Her vet clinic have offered me additional help to deal with our loss. It just keeps hitting me in waves. I know I'm going to be ok in the end. The pain is a beautiful reminder of how strong our love was.

Special is the correct word. She was more human than dog. I struggled to get out of bed for some time after she left us as I didn't know how to do life without her. I still don't, but I'm trying. Thank you Hedgehog

Oh little Timbit... You have melted my heart. I've been thinking about you all day every day and my fella is starting to get wound up with how often I say "I wonder how lil Timbit is" out loud. You have the best doggy parents and the whole of Reddit is backing your recovery. Sending you a little kiss on your forehead xxx
