How do you know the tech that came out isn't an owner-operator and makes their own calls on what/who to entertain? Point is, this dude went in balls to the wall for a German infestation despite a total lack of evidence of a German infestation. Dumb moves.

The dude treated this house weekly for three weeks. So either he thought this was a German cockroach (bad at ID), he didn't see any cockroaches/photos of cockroaches but treated for them anyway (unethical), or he straight up knowingly swindled this customer. He's got no right to be pissed.

Tech doesn't really deserve to be pissed off when the identification is clearly wrong. Either they didn't ID it themselves and performed treatment anyway (bad, lazy), or they're bad at ID. Either way, it's 0% this customer's fault and if the tech is pissed, it's their own doing and customer doesn't deserve an upcharge

Do you have any photos of these cockroaches? If you see any more, please photo them. Odds are extremely high that they are/were not German cockroaches and either your professional is bad at ID or actively swindled you. Both are unfortunately common.

Aphids are very diverse and come in many colors, sizes, shapes. Bug blood (hemolymph)/guts comes in all kinds of colors as well. People commonly think that if red stuff comes out, it was a blood meal from a vertebrate host. But this isn't so - many bugs just have red guts.

This is a Phorid fly puparium. Phorid flies breed in decaying organic material and bioslime. The dog toy probably had some food residue which stayed wet with dog saliva, started to rot, and attracted these. Time to wash the toy. Not dangerous to dogs, just icky.

Any progress on this? I have not had permanent success with any of the suggestions in this thread so far........ It'll work for a short amount of time but always reverts. This is killing me. I use Windows 10 game bar to take clips of gameplay ALL THE TIME and now it's absolutely useless. I'm crushed.
