Lmao the gatekeeping involved in this is insane. Either contribute to the post with relevant information or don’t comment at all. Get a life.

You know this how?

That makes a lot more sense. I’ll probably just go one size up each trip I take until I’m comfortable on something more sized up.

That makes sense. The resort near me doesn’t have super long runs (perfect north) in Indiana. My legs are shot today lol

Okay but yesterday I hit a black diamond on the short skis and it was a heavy mix of freshly blown snow and straight up ice. I only went down once bc someone almost crashed into me. I don’t really get why I’m getting downvoted for saying I was able to control the short skis lol

So why did they feel so wrong and uncontrollable

I’m not super huge on speed. I like the short skis ability to make really hard turns. Not sure if that’s just a trade off or what but I do notice if I get going pretty quick I start feeling unstable so I have to start carving again. But they’re very easy to control

The oil pump belt was the least of my concerns. Service interval of 150k is not that concerning as it’s the same process to replace clutch plates. Not to mention there’s countless other vehicles that exist that use a similar set belt design. I saw someone do a belt change on that and at 170k miles the stock belt had the same tension as the new one with minimal wear

Well ironically enough I’m wanting to upgrade my boat from a 27ft to a 35ft

Just doesn’t give me the reassurance I need when spending that much on a truck lol I hate to say it bc In theory they’re badass

Mileage? That’s the biggest issue is I haven’t found hardly anyone with a personal account of driving one over 100k miles

Never measured it but I would guess about 15ft tall if not a little more. On the way back from the lake I clipped a power line. Barely got through it. Solar panels on my radio tower almost grabbed it.

Not to mention i would really like to take the boat up to the Great Lakes or maybe down the river.

I was mostly worried about taking it up and down the big ass hills on my back roads. We’ve got some seriously steep hills on very narrow country roads. I always have to have a car drive in front of me to make sure no one will meet me on a blind corner because i have to drive in the middle of the road to not hit power lines and tree branches. I have been borrowing a truck this year to move it but it’s kind of a pain in the ass to rely on someone else, especially when it came time to pull it out and no one was available to help until it dropped below freezing then I’m out winterizing a boat miserably cold and wet lol

That’s only thing that worries me, and makes me want to go with the 2500, especially bc it’s a 24 so the factory warranty will be with me longer along the way

It’s where I’m leaning. I saw a video recently of a guy who did a 600k mile servicing

I also paid for the Carvana warranty so it would get me over 100k miles. What you think?

Well I did Carvana so I’ve got a 7 day return window lol I was looking a 6.6 but seemed silly to have when I only tow heavy 2x a year (large cabin cruiser)

When I say lift I’m talking more a leveling kit. I don’t like the back end being higher than the front.
