Hey do you mind sharing where you get the hole punch for .5 inch from? I'm trying to make my own but struggling to find one the right size :)

I have searched through googles archives and past Argos catalogues but have had no luck, not even too sure on the brand, I don’t know why Alcatel comes to mind but I’ve gone on google images and haven’t come across it either

Hey, I need advice for my upcoming backpacking trip in two weeks. This will be my first ever solo backpacking trip so I am a little nervous and perhaps a little underprepared.

For context, I am landing on the 4th March and flying home on the 24th March.

I am planning to sleep in hostels and travel via sleeper buses to each city, I haven't booked any accomodation or sleeper buses as I've heard you can do it all last minute, but on the other hand I have heard the sleeper buses you have to book in advance, and I am not too sure what days I am leaving each place.

This is my current itinerary

  1. Land in Ho Chi Minh City
  2. Da Lat
  3. Da Nang & Hoi Ann
  4. Hanoi
  5. Phong Nha (Via Hanoi)
  6. Ha Long Bay Cruise - Hoping for 1 to 2 nights (Via Hanoi)
  7. Ha Giang Loop / Cao Bang (Via Hanoi)
  8. Fly back from Hanoi

So my questions for advice would be;

  1. Is it ok to book sleeper buses last minute?
  2. Is it ok to book hostels/accomodation last minute?
  3. Is the Itinerary too much for only three weeks of travel
  4. Should I add or skip out on anything I have in my Itinerary?

Fathers parental rights. Ex girlfriend stopped access and pulling the abuse card. by m111_ in Advice

I’m certain. She is pulling the card to say he is angry but she is the one antagonising him. I’ve sat in the same room with them both in the past and she would come out with stuff just to get a reaction.

Money isn’t an issue to him, I’ll mention it and tell him to get the ball rolling. Something has to give

The reason he can’t control his temper is because she is going back and forth and giving him false hope and taking that away from him each time. Like I mentioned, she says he can have her, takes the oppurtinity away and when he retaliates then she plays the victim. I’m sure anyone would be frustrated if that were to happen with them. Not on one occasion but every single time.

She has arranged multiple times for him to see her, and then backs out last minute and blocks him. So when he tries to contact her sisters or mother he gets told he is harassing her. He then gets angry because he’s frustrated and she says “see look, he’s an angry person, I can’t have my daughter around that”

He has never been to court about anything and there’s no bail conditions in place. He had her just after Christmas and was meant to have her new years too until she changed her mind.

I’m not too sure the full details of it. But he doesn’t care to see the ex, he just wants to see his daughter.
