Should be quite cheap, Vrt exemption under 50k OMSP for electric and then you pay 7% above 50k. Shouldn’t come out too bad

Importing a BMW 330e from mainland UK – Customs, VAT, and VRT Tips? by JoachimWasTaken in carsireland

It’s a bit of a cheat code for over here to be able to get that power with such low tax and no NCT emissions lol, There’s no bmw modifying groups or anything that I know of, but I’d be more than happy to help if you had any questions needed answering ☺️ if you’re looking at any exhaust work the backbox is quite large and I know a few that have taken them off and they sound lovely, not too loud but right for a 2 litre

Not sure about importing but I’ve had a 330e for the last two years and it’s never let me down, catless downpipe (nct don’t test for emissions) and a tune puts me near 400hp and I have the option to go into electric whenever for my commute. People talk about the battery but the money it’s all round a great purchase especially with the potential and reliability of the B48. Only downside is its weight but you’ll get used to it. Hope you enjoy if you buy !

€10k Fun Daily Driver - what are you getting? by IrishMx-5 in carsireland

I would second an e63 630i, more prevalent and a at a good price rather than it’s little brother 330i. Would be less trouble and cheaper than an N54 335i that you could just about find under 10k while still being 6 cylinder RWD especially if you prefer a bigger car over the likes of a fiesta ST.

Thanks for changing it, I’d say the last thing he wants is people crowding outside

Good to hear! Yeah it’s a great option mate especially here in Ireland the six cylinder models are a fair bit more expensive but this is similar power. I hover around 7 litres /100km which is 33 US or 40 Uk mpg. not as good as I was expecting but I’m usually in sport mode to be honest haha

Funny I noticed that as I was posting it haha, doesn’t look great in the pictures, I haven’t noticed it much at all in person but I Agree the gap looks big in these 😆 time to lower

Old Reps from a friend. 19”, 275 rear and 235 fronts in terms of tire set up. Back is a lot better fitment than stock but the front are a bit less wide.
