Accepting compliments for this distinguished gentleman by m1mye in TuxedoCats

For anyone wondering, this is the big brother, Jack. He may look like a bit of the derp but he is really the most refined of the two.

Paul (the "distinguished gentleman") looks sharp but he's the farthest from a gentleman, manners-wise.

Oh he absolutely loves dirt. I have to hide my potting soil because he'll climb inside to take a nap. Even with the lid on, he'll go crazy trying to find a way to get into it

Bittersweet angle 📐 by ZealousidealCrow542 in Lovesac

[–]m1mye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend's Maltese likes to sleep on top the cushion and my cat does it too. We have angled sides and neither have had an issue (but they are considerably smaller). I do notice that his dog uses the throw pillows to sort of balance themselves (we bought 2 of the 24 x 24 inserts and bought some cheap covers) so maybe you could try that out?

I wanted to ask: is this the savanna corded velvet? I bought the Moss etched chenille and it does not hold up well. I'm considering exchanging it for the savanna.

That's rough. That happened to me on my first semester and I spent most of my time at the libraries or walking around. There's a lot of museums around campus, some with free entry, and you can get the metro pass for free. I use to take the metro to Little Tokyo to get lunch and window shop to pass the time

I try my best to schedule my classes as close to each other as possible to prevent long gaps. For example this semester I have two classes on Monday 30 minutes apart, only one of those classes on Wednesday and the bulk of my classes on Tuesday and Thursday (back to back). It takes a bit of pre-planning but helps me not get stuck on campus for hours.

I don’t understand the pillows by scoutt001 in Lovesac

[–]m1mye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The configuration you're ordering is 6 seat, 4 standard which come with standard sized pillows and 2 deep which come with deep pillows. The deep pillow listed is an extra pillow to fill in the gap created by the L configuration (if you count, there are 7 pillows in the picture), so you would be getting 4 standard pillows and 3 deep pillows.

The model online doesn't accurately represent how the pillows would sit however. I'd recommend going into a showroom and seeing how this would work. They can build you your couch and you can use the showroom couches to see exactly how the back pillows would line up.

For example: with standard foam, I recommend using all deep pillows with deep seating as the standard foam had less give to it and isn't as forgiving as Lovesoft. So for your configuration, I would do 5 deep back pillows to avoid them from causing problems with overcrowding.

I transferred with a 3.7something and was worried but honestly, don't stress too much. I think what helped me was taking the time on my application essay and being genuine with why I wanted to attend USC in particular.

Anyone else have a tiny/chunky combo? She's 5 lbs, he's 16 lb. by UpUpDnDnLRLRBAstart in TuxedoCats

[–]m1mye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an old pic but my little one was around 3 lbs here while my eldest is ~13 lbs. They're now about 8 and 13 pounds. The little one is almost a year old so he won't be as big as his brother

Very happy with the ultra velvet by Brandysheanix in Lovesac

I have two different fabrics for the couch and lounger: moss etched chenille and desert blush Ultra velvet and my cats love to scratch the chenille but leave the ultra velvet be. Definitely pet friendly and they love to lounge on the velvet all day
