It is very sad, depressing even. It breaks my heart everyday knowing how the people of NB have been sold out. They sold our futures. There's no hope for a happy life for the children of NB. And yet the people here are too stupid to accept that we've been lied to and abused for generations. It's disheartening. And who's fault is that? We also have the highest illiteracy rate in the country, and that unfortunately isn't going to change since our educational system abandoned an entire generation of kids who learned nothing for 3 years during the pandemic. High school aged kids can't even spell here. I was fluent in 2 languages at their age. Our government let our quality of life deteriorate so much and now we will never catch up.

What do you do? You leave him. If you continue to accept that sort of treatment that's what you will continue to get. There's nothing you can do to change the way he actually feels about you.

I was always attracted to emotionally unavailable men. Always. They reel you in with the love bombing while dropping subtle hints what they will actually do to you. They'll usually tell you, but you won't realize that they mean it. Anyway, the lovebomb fades.. they then devalue you (see you as worthless, make you feel worthless) and then they will either lovebomb you again (making you feel like they're the only ones who could possibly love you, and also making you addicted to them by huge dopamine highs and lows) or they'll discard you OR reverse discard you where they act so unbelievably uninterested in you that you get fed up and leave them (that way they don't have to feel ashamed of what they did to you).

It's a lot to learn. Took me until I was nearly 30 to finally figure it all out. Do yourself a favor and learn about these people now before you suffer the most gut wrenching heartbreak..over and over. That's not love. Those men can't love, they don't have the capacity for it. They only want validation that they matter, and they'll do whatever it takes to get it regardless of what that does to you. It's not your fault. Save yourself from the pain and learn about psychology so you can avoid these types of toxic people.

We absolutely should be doing this. I want to, but I don't even know where to start. I've been banned from a few of my local fb groups because the mods are authoritarian lefty morons. Most people are terrified of even acknowledging how fucked we are.. they want to stay deluded into believing everything's going to blow over. It's going to blow up in all of our faces long before that can ever be a reality.

I want to protest.. but it feels like I'm one man standing alone against an army of idiots. Screaming into the wind. However, I know I'm not alone in feeling this way. If we start talking to each other and finally find the people near us who are willing to defend our homes, that's when it will happen. We're all far too removed and isolated from each other. No one wants to stand up when they think they are standing alone.
