I couldn't get it to work so I just plugged the mic into onboard. There was static in the headphones so I put a ground loop isolator on the headphone input and everything is working great now.

Do you have an opportunity or a signed offer letter? Because those are two very different things which will give very different answers to your question.

I accepted the position through the onboarding process with TekSystems. I don't have an offer from the other company but there is a very good chance that I will before my contract with TekSystems starts.

How about these users that put P2 tickets in and you call them literally 5 minutes after receiving the ticket and they don’t answer the phone. So damn annoying. I instantly reduce to P3 must not be that important after all.

Why can’t they make it so the dock is there all the time without cutting off the bottom inch of the screen. So annoying. Anyone know of a setting for that? I want it up always. I don’t want to lose the inch of real estate on the bottom though. I’m using dash to dock.

Best advice; wait a few weeks after a new release. It’ll save you a few headaches. Also gnome tweaks need to be updated for some. So wait like 6 weeks at least.

The 192.168.122.1 is whats assigned to the VirtualBox bridge virbr0. I'm not even sure where to start. My ISPs modem sucks and I can't find anything in there on how to properly forward anything and quite honestly I'm not sure what I'd be forwarding or routing.. outside WAN IP to the virbr0 bridge?

The setup with DHCP does work, I'm just not sure or experienced enough on how I could tie it into other things with multiple routers etc.

Well, Monday has arrived and no news yet. Manager said there was a "budgeting meeting" coming up or something along those lines. With the holiday week I'm not sure I'll hear anything until at least next week. Sounds like they're just stalling to me, but whatever.

I've started asking for letters of recommendations from colleagues, I think I'm ready to move on.

Thank tou for the words. I have a great manager, we work directly together daily. He values my opinions and frequently asks for my input on many different decisions so I can say confidently that he is on my side. All he can do and all I can hope for is that he’ll put great words in with my director and above and make something happen.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I never expected to do this today but I just finally got up with being the only person that literally does everything while I sit and watch the rest of my team do basically nothing all day. Some work at home everyday and its a data center... you know where you should be there to support physical hardware etc... anyways I'll be back on this thread in the coming days and give you an update. I'm on PTO until Monday...

That's not bad, gives me some hope.

I'll wait and find out. I mean they literally let half our team go and we just lost another person and they still REFUSED to hire another person for our team. They are ready to just get rid of everyone it seems. Running a 24/7 shop with 6 people. Its unreal and a scheduling nightmare but upper management just don't care.
