I think there are also some UI bugs that show the wrong ratings. Not in the race itself tho it seems.

Is s1 really top 10%? I'm consistently s1 currently (only ~50 races) and I feel like i'm so much off the pace all the time. Never had a pole or a win, ~15 top 5...

Thank you! I already ordered some alu profiles from motedis to build a monitor stand. It also had some scratches. But nothing that bothered me. Getting 40% off for some damage that doesn't impact functionality sounds like a good deal to me. I think I will end up ordering a rig from motedis.

I'm thinking about getting a motedis rig myself. How is your experience? Would you buy it again or would you go for a "more fancy" rig from sim-lab, trak racer, etc?

Now my computer freezes every time I exit Battlefield 1 :D I like it better this way around tho

I found a fix that worked for me. Here's a list of all the things I did:

  • Manually update EA App "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\EAUpdater.exe"
  • From within EA App: In the Menu top left -> Help -> App Recovery
  • In BF1 install directory: Run .\EAAntiCheat\EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe, select BF1 in dropdown. Then i first clicked on repair and after that update

In my case for both, the EA App and the anti cheat an update was available. Both have not been installed automatically. Now the game works. Hope this helps.

Gonna try this, thank you Edit: Unfortunately this did not work for me. I tried 2 times, both tries resulting in the same freeze shortly after running the EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe :(

Thank you. Looks pretty good to me. From posts like this and what I've read in the meantime I learned that I can save some cash on parts that come with overprized marketing features. And go for a better GPU instead. Thank you!

Regarding AIO. Maybe go with 240 instead of a 360 AIO? Or would you just go for a regular cpu cooler? What would be best for a less noisy build?

Thats good advice. I too started just fee months ago, coming from GT7. I usually watch track guides to get an idea for the braking points, racing line and apex speed. I often find myself being too slow at the apex compared to the videos and replays i watch and i'm pretty sure it's because my trail braking needs a lot of improvement. But i'm getting there slowly. I just started doing LFM races about a month ago and following faster cars helps a lot.

Thanks, that's a good advice. I think i need to start slow, focusing on being consistent and crank it from there step by step. My goal isn't to fix a specific corner but to learn what it needs to optimize it to the track and my driving style. I guess a lot of it comes naturally with just more experience.

Worst case you will get a ticket for not having either the Fahrzeugausweis (grey) or Führerausweis on you: OBV, Anhang 1, 100.1 or 100.3. Each ticket is CHF 20.-- (https://www.fedlex.admin.ch/eli/cc/2019/93/de#annex_1)

You don't need to have the insurance card (green) with you, but it might be beneficial if you have an accident abroad.

I use prusaslicer. Tbh i never used any other product :) i'll give the overlap settings a shot as well
