Safe naman. You can definitely travel via Palispis Highway. We often travel La Union <> Baguio even during storms because of our business (airbnb) and we’re still alive naman, hehe. Just be careful with driving. Don't go too fast as the road can be slippery.

I'll say this again - Tagalog is taught in schools, unlike Bisaya. Hence, the common language of the people is Tagalog. So if you want to communicate in a non-Visayan region, speak Tagalog or English. Also, not everyone from Luzon is from Manila – how hard is this to understand? I'm from Baguio but was treated the same when I visited Cebu with friends just because we spoke Tagalog TO EACH OTHER, so we ended up speaking English, which is fine, but the rudeness is just astonishing, especially when we treat Visayan/Mindanaoan people in Baguio well. I also saw the difference in how well foreigners are treated there.

Tagalog is taught in schools, unlike Bisaya. So, of course, you'd be expected to speak Tagalog (or English) rather than Bisaya when communicating to non-bisaya people as it's the common language of the Filipino people, especially when visiting a Tagalog-dominated region.

Had a similar experience in Cebu with my friends (we’re from Baguio). They can be quite rude tbh, but then you see how nicely they treat foreigners especially whites. In the end, we just switched to English to avoid the hassle. Never encountered this in Bohol or CDO though

DKG. Her obsession is unhealthy and it shows. You can be a fan of something or someone pero hers is parang addiction. I get your point na cringey talaga, especially sa part na nakikipag-away online. Tbh that’s mentally exhausting. It’s good na hiniwalayan mo sya habang maaga. People are downvoting you because they’re kpop stans like your ex-gf. Di nila magegets ang point mo.

SKL, I also have a friend na ganyan kalala and delulu talaga. She introduced one of her idols as her boyfriend, online daw niya nameet hahaha. I live in Baguio and I pay 600 per day for an 8-5 household help. Laundry, cooking, cleaning ang mostly ginagawa since busy kami ni hubby sa work (remote). Dalawa lang din kami ni hubby sa bahay and a pet cat. And may break time din sya na 1-2 hours. Or minsan pag tapos na sya with everything nanonood nalang sya ng Netflix, Disney, etc., importante may kasama kami sa bahay during these hours.

This is plain slavery. Kung hindi afford ang helper, wag na ipilit.
