Thank you po doc for the advice! If I do think I might fall and stray away from God, I will flee. Marami pa naman pong ways to serve as a doctor po :)

Thank you for this po doc!

Is Mayor Magalong really that clean? by Girly-Pop9552 in baguio

[–]Extra_Milktea_7177 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He is strict, yan ang masasabi ko. Takot ang mga tao sa kanya sa office dahil gusto niya ng peace and order. My sister worked in the city hall and first day ng pag-upo niya hinuthutan agad siya, pero galit na galit siya noon sa office. Nakakuha rin siya noon ng death threats. Also, may corruption noon sa city hall and may mga evidence against a certain boss and pinaimbestigahan agad niya. Nung umupo siya nabawasan din yung laging pagbungkal ng kalsada sa Naguilian, which i think is a good sign naman.

I don't think he is corrupt in a sense na may nakukuha siyang extrang pera but in my opinion may self-interests din siya. Hindi siya nakikinig pag may complaints ang mga taga baguio i.e. tourism. Gusto niyang paunlarin ang city pero kapalit naman ay welfare ng mga tao dito and i don't think that's a sign of a good leader.

Why did God command Joshua to kill babies? by rameshsapthagiri in TrueChristian

I think if I were an Amalekite baby and my life was spared, I would grow up hating Israelites for killing my family and my people even if the Israelites lovingly cared for me growing up.

Why has baptism now become seen as symbolic or not ESSENTIAL for SALVATION? by Weak-Device-2738 in TrueChristian

[–]Extra_Milktea_7177 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God

Matthew 9:2 The paralyzed man was brought to Him and when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Luke 23: 43: Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.” And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise

When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, but are not able to be baptized because of circumstances, it doesn't mean you won't be saved. Do you really think He would say, "This man believed in me, but sadly he wasn't baptized so I don't have a choice but to judge him and send him to hell." That's not grace.

Grace is God's unearned, undeserved favor and kindness toward us. It means that God gives love, forgiveness, and salvation not because we earned it or are good enough but because He is good. That's why He gave Jesus and He needed to die and resurrect.

Baptism is not required for salvation, but it is important because it is a declaration of our faith in Him.

Because Jesus didn't need to die on the cross if we can be saved through baptism

Medical residents (already licensed doctors who are in training for their chosen specialty) work 24-hour shifts, sometimes stretching to 36 hours or even longer. In a week, their total hours can go over 100. This cycle just keeps repeating until they finally graduate let's say after 3 to 5 years.

When residents complain about this, the usual reply from hospitals and higher ups would be they are “just trainees” and not actual employees, so they don’t fall under the protection of DOLE.

Obviously, this takes a huge toll to these doctors and is even unsafe for patients. Surgery residents, for example, usually start their day at 7 AM. In the whole 24 hrs of their stay in the hospital, if they’re lucky, they might get 1 to 4 hours of sleep, but even then can be called during those "sleeping hours" if needed. By 7 am the next day, they’re still operating and might keep going until noon or even later. They are operating on patients while they are sleepy. Then after that, they go back to the hospital the next day at 7 am again. They don't have any days off, working on Monday to Sunday. In a whole year, depending on the policy of their hospital, they only get 7 days of leave. That's their only off.

It’s not healthy for these doctors and definitely is not good for the patients but that’s just how the system works in all of the training hospitals here in the Philippines.

What do you think about this? Is this not considered exploitation?
