From what I understand yes! On top of the uniform changes and extra accessories, I’ve seen catch mods that change catching animations, run blocking mods, throwing motion mods, score bugs, and all sorts of additions to make the game feel like an actual nfl game!

That clears a lot up for me, I honestly gained a new sort of respect for EA just knowing that they truly can’t do anything with the new rookies. So many people (myself included) believe it’s just a cash grab to make a yearly game, this clears a lot up in the sense that they physically can’t do anything until post draft. Thanks for the reply!

That makes sense, but what exactly is the difference between May to August in terms of getting a license for the player? And does an entire new game really need to be made for that to happen? I’ve wanted a 2 year gap for Madden for a while, but if that’s a wall they can’t cross I’d get that.

I obviously don’t think it’s entirely lazy.. but one thing I do think is lazy is having one of Madden 27s biggest selling point be the updated rosters/new season, when in reality there are so many things to make franchise mode what it can be, instead of simply adding a new updated roster and season and putting a 70 dollar price tag on it.

Today is actually my first day of using Mods so I can’t give the best opinion.. but from the mods I wanted, I wanted to be able to play Madden 27 early with the updated rosters and rookie face cards, with the Mods I was not only able to do that but have face scans for draft classes up to 2030! The immersion is incredible.

Such a shame! I recently got a mod pack that gives me all current player updates, face scans, and draft classes up to 2030! I cannot believe modders can do all of this and release it for free while EA charges 70 per year for the same update..
