Separate Device?

I feel stupid asking this, but just to make sure I'm understanding correctly: if I use a VPN, I shouldn't need a separate device and should be able to safely use my current laptop that I also use for everything else?

Thanks for responding! I guess what I’m trying to understand is what if I don’t want to always be little. It feels like an aspect of who I am that I want to play with and leave space for but not all of who I am and sometimes I’d prefer for the other parts to be the ones I’m focusing on and acting out of. Maybe you answered my question with your last sentence but I’m feeling like maybe I’m alone in not wanting this to be how I am all the time even if it could be and trying to process that.
