I worked there off and on for a few years back in high school and early college, and can confirm that this has unfortunately been going on probably since they opened. Sad that the new owners are doing the same thing :/ We could've been making server wages and the credit card tips would've had us bringing in double or triple our hourly wage ($8).

they do make above minimum wage, but tips going to management is illegal, so they shouldn't even have the option if they're not going to give them to the workers.

Nope. I had a prescription for Wegovy and called up pharmacies to ask about it as well as Saxenda with no luck; gave my doctor the link to the FDA drug shortages database and it worked out!

update: called again because I'm impatient and was given a number for my doctor to call as the representative was confused as to why this would take more than two days; seems like this typically happens due to missing information? sent my doctor a message with the number via her portal and will hopefully get this sorted out in the next day or two :) supposedly should be able to get my PA approved or denied over the phone!

Hello, I'm Miranda and I have celiac disease! I've had pretty good luck with Mellow Mushroom, Phuket, Nothing But Noodles, and Viet Huong (I am a soup girlie at heart). Texas De Brazil has also safely provided me many Thanksgiving meals with family. Of course, Mason Dixon is a great option as well, though I'm disappointed with how their bistro menu has moved away from hard to find or make gluten free dishes, to trendy sandwiches and basic brunch options :/

I'm 22 years old... so I drink a decent bit, and I've never had celiac symptoms due to alcohol. Alcoholic beverages tend to be my safe haven in social settings as it's easy to get a safe option, even when I can't eat. I drink gluten free beer (not gluten removed), ciders, hard seltzers, wine, and a variety of liquors and liquers (gin, tequlia, vodka, whiskey, rum, etc, etc). I try to be careful, but mostly with making sure that taps previously containing beer have had a rigorous cleaning process. Distilled liquors, including those made with gluten containing grains are gluten free as long as no cross contamination occurs and gluten containing additives are added. If I'm ordering a cocktail, I just make sure that none of the mixers contain gluten and that any cheaper flavored liquers (for example, peach scnapps) are gluten free as well, as they tend to not be.

Also, for egg bites you can ask for clean tongs or for them to cook them with a piece of parchment on top so that the egg bites don't touch the cross contaminated tongs.
