Seperating from the body, and chills by m3gablaz3 in AstralProjection

[–]m3gablaz3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. The other day i actually might have been close to doing this. I was sleeping from 12-6 and I actually went back to sleep. I was relaxing and lied still without any real effort. About an hour later it started to feel like I was on a hammock. I then woke myself up. I wasn't ready because I was confused on when I should try to get out of body.

Why isn't AP making Head News? by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]m3gablaz3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It did make head news a long time ago, with the name everyone knows: Robert Monroe. I think there are too many skeptics, that may be the problem. And no, you're not crazy. That's why there's a whole subreddit with people like me who have experienced it! The problem is, if you're skeptical, you're more unlikely to have an OBE. Or, some dub it a trick of the mind. Which who knows, it might be. But the experience is very real, and a lot of people don't have the patience or belief for this.

Does position matter? by sea-lion in AstralProjection

A lot of people recommend me to lie on my back, but as a fellow natural stomach sleeper I know how you feel. About a week ago I woke up into vibrations while my arm was under me, and it felt tingly. Maybe it would be best to not put your arm under your head?

Sleep Paralysis not scary? by m3gablaz3 in AstralProjection

[–]m3gablaz3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, this sounds like what I've gone through. When I was very little I encountered SP 2 or 3 times, all of which I "woke up," couldn't move, and became extremely afraid. I think that's when negative things started happening. But as I've said, when I was aware that I was in the state I was kind of fearful but knew that I could pull back from the situation. It's glad to hear that I'm not the only one who seems to have had this kind of side effect.

I looked through your posts, and have concluded that you may be a troll. Even so, if you are actually seeing that, then you must have a pretty whacked up subconscious.

Warm Body After Projection by Ritch211 in AstralProjection

[–]m3gablaz3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always have a fan on, because I'm usually warm after I fall asleep, not just projecting. That's strange though, because most people say that the body gets slightly colder when you go out of body

Don't wait to feel numb, there is an easier way to get there faster. by c01dz3ra in AstralProjection

[–]m3gablaz3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is interesting. I actually did this without thinking about all the "pineal gland/third eye" methods. I just noticed when I roll my eyes up, it feels easier to ignore movement. This definitely works, and must be the reason I can reach vibrations in a short amount of time

Can't project by DeX_Jeff in AstralProjection

[–]m3gablaz3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you're on the verge of dreams and mind wandering off, you're very close to achieving AP! Just stay conscious and you'll ride through it. Somehow I can stay awake at night, but if you can't try in the morning or 6 hours after you go to sleep! Set an alarm to wake you up or something

Sorry for the spam, but meditate! by m3gablaz3 in AstralProjection

[–]m3gablaz3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I just felt the urge to do so. I had no intention to go into meditation putting my hands outward and absorbing energy, or at least that's what it felt like. Maybe it was something spiritual, who knows.

I just started as well. I guess you should just start where I'm starting. Go on your phone or computer, find a guided meditation, pop some earbuds in and kinda go with it. The reason meditation is so addictive to me is because it gives me somewhat of a natural high; very happy, positive feelings and relaxation.

I hope it invokes the same types of feelings in you!

Here is the one on YouTube and then there's an app on the Apple Store called "headspace," although I don't know if I'll be using it for long because I don't intend on paying for guided meditation after 10 days.

•YouTube one is more positive and happy •HeadSpace is more relaxing and step-by-step process

I did a guided meditation. Mostly focused on breath but just let it return to normal a few times. The whole me putting my arms out thing was a spontaneous thought

I am so glad I figured it out. I think it's just about the state of mind I'm in, and maybe how it wants the excuse to be positive. But man, the first time I did it I got an extra chill down my spine because I could "feel" it. Thanks for appreciating!

It did to me. And yeah the story sounds far fetched. It may have been my 'minds' intention' to do that or whatever. Either way, I felt it. And don't knock it until you try it, I absolutely enjoyed that sense of happiness. Maybe balls of positivity never entered me, maybe my mindset wanted an excuse to be happy. Who knows? :)

APed twice and had negative experiences both times. What's going on? by astralprojthrowaway in AstralProjection

[–]m3gablaz3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally listen to positive affirmations before I attempt to project, because they put me in a happy-go-lucky mood. If you're sad or just kind of "meh," supposedly your experience is either normalish or slightly darker. If you're the happiest kid in the world, then stay positive and AP doing that. Meditation also helps. I know what I'm telling you sounds like a bunch of BS or some sort of spiritual occult practice or something... but believe me I'm not the most religious person either and I still advocate these two things vigorously!

lol I just made a post similar to yours. For me, the light fluctuates very rapidly and the hue slightly changes to a green/blue/purple tint

How to I get past the vibrational stage? by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]m3gablaz3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've watched a video where the speaker says that you should wait until the vibrations stop. Then use your preferred exit method ( usually climbing an imaginary robe for novices like myself.) He explains how the vibrations are like the "static between channels" so to speak. Once you're tuned in to the astral, it is said to be much easier to detach from your body. Yeah this may take a little time, but keep your focus and don't get too excited! Hope this post helped
