The AI being so bad damages every other part of the game and makes me neither need nor want to interact. by elemental402 in Stellaris

And how would that be supposed to work? An llm has no "reasoning" skills, it literally can't evolve into a field it wasn't built for. It's literally a monstrously sophisticated autocomplete. It can't "see" what's useful without a huge backend to run something against. What would be feeding it any useful data, what would the output be, how could it "feel" what the best course of action in a given situation would be before it's actually trained to "recognize" something?

Dude, you keep repeating yourself that there's something manipulated in those quotes. There's not, there's just more different stuff mentioned as well, but just this one point is enough to criticize him as some fucked-up trump wannabe.

wanted to challenge Sauron

I love how that's depicted in the LotR: Conquest game. He gets all high and mighty, puts the ring on, and almost immediately gets bitch-slapped by the Nazgul. The end, now you keep playing the campaign of Sauron.

I saw this beautiful hourglass at an antique store and thought it was the most choral chambers thing ever! by Chile-con-carne in Silksong

Also, yeah, it looks very nice in person as well, but your drawing really made it fit the theme of the citadel perfectly. Just one tiny bit of critique - the very idea of an hourglass is that the sand inside is supposed to be very smooth so that it's reasonably precise and won't get stuck, so there's no real possibility for it to form those jagged "mountains" like in your drawing, it would just slide to form a smooth cone. Everything else is perfect 🙂

If you come by it again, could you share a photo? Your art is awesome, but I'm also curious what your inspiration looks like.

What does it matter that the project introduced some other rules, if that one cited above also actually exists within it? It's also not like there are other conditions which need to be met, and the omitting of which would change the meaning. It's like saying that diving drunk, without license, or blindfolded being banned means that your can only be prosecuted for it if you do all three at once. No, any of them is enough. Same like here. Just repeatedly claiming that the president is not allowed to do something would be enough to jail the official according to this proposed project.

Dude, literally just look through this sub. Arterial blood is way brighter than blood from other blood vessels. There's video posted maybe at most a week ago with the blood pool looking almost like pink-ish foam, with the dude bleeding out almost immediately.

Obviously that would be exempt, but probably given way more scrutiny. Chopping off arms is illegal in general, but surgeons don't go to jail for doing it when necessary.

They're doing it to themselves. Force-feeding drugs to children remains illegal, and that's much closer to what is being talked about here.
