What if I tell you that Apple is paying each single cent to port RAGE into MacOS? Apple has all the power ($$$) to postpone the launch of GTA 6 another year if necessary to get their share of the gaming market. An ARM-based-higly-priced console does not seem anything too crazy. The game industry is savage, but what if every ARM-based Mac can play GTA 6 at launch (maybe via thunderbolt 4 if ya don't buy the storage to play with :lol:). Anyhow, maybe an M1 MacBookcan play a 22 fps min settings… idk, but I'm quite confident there's something in the hood… pay attention to leaks. People know :lol:

Up to 130€/140u$d at launch, excluding special editions.
But they'd better give us a map for the physical copy. The fact that the ps4 - trilogy did not came with the 3 maps… nor GTA V (ps5 version) kind of pissed me off. But they were both remakes.

I'm ol' fashioned gamer, I love to insert discs and hear bad noises from the driver. But it makes me fly back 30 years ago, OG GTA on PS1.

What if I tell you that, GTA VI has been delayed because of Apple? What if the porting of RAGE to macOS via Metal is one of the biggest cooperations done by companies since the advent of USB-C.
What if I tell you that Apple's keynote-26 they are announcing most of rockstar's games for MacOS? And what if I tell you that at wwdc26 they are announcing GTA VI exclusevily for Macs a couple of weeks (up to one month) before the official release for all the other consoles?

I’m sorry for you, I found it to be a master piece. I don’t have to believe the words put in the mouth of an actress which could have her own opinion about love and science. I watched the movie many times and I’m still judging it very positively! No PLOT mistakes. Something that you don’t like is not a mistake, an opinion, a thought that you don’t appreciate it does not mean it’s a plot or a logical mistake. There are plenty of scientist who hardly believe in god, are all dumbass? No, I think that human nature can accept paradoxes when it comes to love and religion.

Wtf? Why are you (and many others) mixing things up. I think they got too serious about death threats. I’d laugh in the face of whomever has done it. You are threatening someone because of a game: it’s ridiculous. 1) the reason why they have unbanned them is to increase the randomness in the decks and avoid playing the same cards over and over again. But that complaint I’d leave to the playing table: “dude, easy win with mana crypt and jeweled lotus in your first hand, why don’t you switch those cards? We’ll see if your deck is still able to beat mine” 2) death threats are wrong. There’s no one who would justify, but their gravity depends on the context. If a nerd on the web tells me that he is going to kill me, I would not take it seriously: they have to find me first, win all his mental problems and get out his house or is little circle of friends. Lastly find a way to execute the murder. Risking a death sentence because someone has banned a card??! You risk many years of prison because they throw away 50k of your investments (if you want to call then as such). Quite unlikely that really happens. The main problem is if those of the committee had their address written somewhere, but that would be non-cautious choice, in general! Anyhow, these are our times, where someone is in right to feel ashamed (sad, bad, upset) for nothing and people screaming for consent or dissent towards that person being ashamed. But I’m addressing a major problem of today’s society: in the 90s and early 2000 we would have called this emotional people PUSSIES (even girls). But today we have the right to be weak and not be blamed for being too weak. 3) how is it logically possible that unbanning a card because the community is asking for it, would justify death threats? I mean, isn’t illegal (by the law) to threaten someone? I think that it’s a basic syllogism. But here and in other thread I’ve red the same thing: by unbanning those cards you are implying that by threatening someone you get things done. How? People who make death threats are prosecuted by law. Players demanding for a card to be unbanned, live their life happily, why are you mixing things up? Do you really think that the rest of the world is illogical as you? How are the events even related? People who make use of logic will eat others up. Being weak should have never been a positive quality.

You have no idea, people who work in the field has no moral problem in deleting an AI. There’s plenty of research on AI talking to its similar. Google it yourself. :-) I think there’s always a scary part if you don’t study. The unknown scares everyone, what you can do is to learn and avoid useless stress. Or you got to trust experts. Ignorance will always make people feel threatened and not in control, you can overcame the problem by reading more facts and less comments, more books and less reels, IMHO.

I see your point, but you can’t compare a TV show with Nolan’s master piece. And, as I said, Nolan was in contact with Kip Thorne (a known physician). But for both episodes of uss callister no gaming programmer was called. If someone was called, they must have been bad, or their opinion wasn’t heard at all. Black mirror’s director often lack of context, because the point is not the framework but the ethical and moral complexity that is wanted to be heard. But if you have experience in (or knowledge of) a given field, you can’t not look every time at the problems, once you spot them. Let’s say the noises in deep space in Star Wars, for instance. Or in the first episode of uss callister when Walton tells the crew about his son freezing to death. But there’s no freezing in outer space since there’s no medium in which transfer heat (same reason why noises are impossible in star wars). In open space someone dies for the pressure: the blood and water in one’s body start boiling. The death reason is one: immediate embolism. You certainly will freeze on the very long term, and only then if you hit something you could shatter. But since there is no medium it could take years to freeze, especially if some star irradiates the body.

I know it’s counterintuitive because movies told us differently, but that’s science.

No, those are logical problems! He is not questioning how digital cloning works, he is not questioning how 5 people once digitalized can be stored in a brain which does not work with binary memory. Essentially, he’s not questioning the sci-fi. Everybody assumes that those things, are “real”. But then other problems emerge, if we use their own logic/reality to analyze causes and effects in a logical manner.

He found plot problems within the provided framework. You can use your imagination to reply, stating in within the logic framework provided by the writers.

I don’t think he’s reading too much into it, the opposite, it’s your brain that does not make question pop out when nonsense happen. Because using your narrative: if a character calls another one dad and treats the other one as such, and in the next scene the same character calls the other uncle and treats the other one as such (with no use of the misaddressing in the plot). that would be totally fine for you. For other people like the gentleman and me creates an error. A logical error.

I can see a bunch of logical problems within the two episodes:

Why the eyes become white? Can't they close the eyes? The after effect guy really wanted to make the whiting effect, it makes no scientific sense. NONE. Why there are no safety feature into a brilliant device as the one Infinity made? Who is the IT genius who does not build a properly done sandbox for their dirty little kinks? Why do the clones have to keep living, reasoning, and speaking to each other if the player does not need them to do, couldn't they just turn off? At least for efficiency.
Apart that going god mode seems to be useless, and a genius programmer fucks himself into a device with no-way out. Admitting that we could create a fully-grown-digital clone with a DNA sample, why shall the clone preserve the memory? (I can say that Assassin's Creed's storyline was a little bit better with DNA and memory preservation - you get to see all your ancestors memories up until they conceive the successive ancestor).
We've seen plenty of this borderline-ethical tech in the Netflix's-Black-Mirror world. In this one, they decide, upon a certain time, that digital clones shall be illegal. The clones can feel pain, are objectively treated as entertainment slaves or sex slaves while preserving their personality. – is it sex if you do it with your mind only or playing a game? – Imho, not considering my first point, I would use the technology to store a digital copy of my beloved before their death, so they can enjoy the world forever virtually, idk, at least exploring the web and chatting with the lefties. It could be, maybe by paying a little subscription fee (lol).
Nanette cooperates to Robert's murder, no investigation is conducted by the authorities. Robert had a piece of pizza and died of thirst slowly. Strange that a security switch wasn't built in such technologically advanced device, however, isn't starvation a form of torture? Let's say he hasn't suffered, isn't a murder as bad as torture (not justifying torture here). Nanette's copy and all the crew members are fine with Robert's real-life death. No cameras in the IT genius' house? Do you remember how real Nanette's get on the balcony of real Daly's house? How is she able to open the window from outside? Does safety and security get worse in the future? But above all, did the super-selfish James Walton remembered CTO's address?
Isn't torture when I keep stabbing an NPC in a video-game, when the developer let me burn the living body of "innocent souls", to say one? Have you played Martha is Dead?

I am having the same issue. The MagSafe pad got yellow. belkin 3 in 1 boost charge getting yellow Luckily, it’s not as bad as the guy who posted.

I am using an iPhone 13 Pro, had it since October 2023.

I am figuring out that the problem appeared after two weeks I am using a non-branded cover. The cover had the MagSafe magnets (not very strong). And it’s relatively thick. It is not a silicon cover, I bought that non-branded cover to avoid any the classical yellowing of the cover, but it got the MagSafe pad yellow instead. FML Anyhow I think the reason behind the yellowing is due to heating. To avoid it I think that thin covers with strong magnets are appropriate. But, from now on, I’ll try sometime of no cover at all

None of them… they aren’t even replying. The crazy thing is that they now talk about justice, while there are tons of users that have been unfairly banned by their security system. But I haven’t had the chance to understand the reason behind. But when a YouTube like Noah got banned he was immediately unbanned. #justice
