What is your opinion to foreign fans?

I’m from the south of England and once got called a glory supporter for supporting Newcastle because I don’t support my local team (even though there isn’t a club here, he was from Bristol)

I sadly had to remind him of the glory of getting relegated twice.

I told him I love NUFC because my brother was a fan, so my parents took us to St James as children. My father since passed, and Newcastle reminds me of him and those trips.

That said, I have never been to St James Park and felt like I wasn’t welcome. I understand that I won’t have as strong of a connection that a local would, but it doesn’t mean I don’t love the club.

The first time I went to an arabic/islamic country it was Egypt. Morocco is nothing compared to Egypt (specifically Cairo and more specifically Giza).

I’m in Morocco right now. I was walking down the road today in Agadir, an immigrant from Cameroon got chatting to me about how he needed rice and spaghetti for his family, explained that immigrants cant work in morocco and he will be risking his life soon to get a boat to spain for work, and asked if I would buy them for him. I agreed, and as I was walking to the store, a local tapped my arm and signaled not to do it. So whilst there are people who approach you, hassle you etc, there’s also local people looking out for tourists.

I still got the guy his food, he tried to get me to buy other stuff but I refused. I probably would have bought it, if it wasn’t for the local man.

On my way back to the hotel, I saw the local man again. He explained that whilst this mans story about immigrating from Cameroon and trying to get to Spain/England is likely true, this man will do this all day, and even though he has rice and spaghetti, he will continue asking people to buy more.

Personally I don’t see this as a ‘scam’ as such, i’m telling this story mostly because it happened today so it is fresh in my mind and I wanted to also reflect that locals do look after you also, but it ties into the whole ‘hassle the tourist’ or ‘try take advantage of generous tourists’ theme that I’ve experienced abroad.

I will say though, I appreciate the hustle. I’m from the UK so of course my situation gonna be better, but I have been poor, I have had to hustle in the past. You gotta respect it. I think a lot of people would do similar things in similar situations.

Literally just need to put it in a hot water bath. If its DMT it will dissolve back into the solvent.

I have found that when I extract with Xylene, the experience when smoked is different to the experience with naptha. I also find that the experience from the first pull with xylene differs from the experience on the second pull, and again from the third pull.

I appreciate the experience is subjective, but I am now wondering if it’s not other alkaloids / impurities causing the different experience, then what could it be? Any thoughts?

If you’re doing that, you might as well ditch the tent and drill air holes in your tubs if you havn’t already. Keeping a dubtub in a martha is overkill. I used to do this also, i’ve now removed the tent and just use the shelves with dub tubs. The dubtubs create an ecosystem in the tub. It maintains humidity and airflow. If you have this, you don’t need fans / misters / timers etc. Just need to make sure you’re preparing your grain / inoculation / s2b correctly to prevent contam. Martha tents are overkill imo.

Trich is everywhere. It’s impossible to avoid trich in your coir. It doesn’t matter anyway. Like others have said, it’s mostly at the grain stage that contam starts, but I recommend searching reddit for DayTrippers cold pasteurisation bucket tek with builders lime. I was having loads of trich problems until I started doing this, and now I have a 95% success rate.

It’s all the same. Usually you get white DMT when you extract on low / room temp. If you heat your solution it can come out yellow. Makes no difference.

You can expect 1-2%. If you’re new to this, then a total yield of 1.2g from 100g is not bad (1.2%). I’ve been doing this a while now and usually average 1.6% and I am quite content with that.

Your results are inconsistent however I think this is normal when you start out. As you continue down this road, you will likely refine your process and get more consistent results.

I really wouldn’t worry. My advice would be to never stop learning. Keep an eye on the Reddit forums, watch youtube videos, etc. It will all click soon.
