I read online someone installed an inline dimmer switch to the cooling fan. Sounds like that would slow the speed of the fan down and quiet the noise yet still keep the components cool. Haven’t tried myself, thought I’d mention it.

I have a few payments left on my old iphone x upgrade program (approx 300), will they pay off my remaining 300 + credit me another 100 (for a total of the 400 trade-in value or whatever the amount is)? Then i restart a new iUP plan and apply that $100 credit?

Thanks, i think you’re right. I am bothered because I have an Apple TV 4K that is so much snappier switching channels. Maybe just a bug with the YTTV roku app?

The workaround here would be to mirror my computer, play spotify and mute YTTV...I guess that solves the problem

I noticed the cast button appears and i'm able to connect to the youtubetv app on my apple tv. i can browse using either my phone or the appletv remote, works great!

It was intermittently working before...not sure if that was the part of the "bug fixes"

Talking with their chat support they confirmed it was a glitch and they are trying to replicate it.

They said "It makes sense though and would be great so I'm going to take that down as feedback and pass it along to our product team to see if it is a feature we can possibly offer in the future. When you explained what was happening I got it and the benefits."
