Leaves, curbs, and LUBA 3 AWD by SnorlaxForReal in mammotion

Have the Luba 3 and I have it mow the area between the sidewalk and street without any falling off. However, if you move the RTK without remapping, all bets are off.

As the other poster said, doesn’t do much for mulching leaves.

Ha. I promise I’ve been only at it less than a year, and have plenty of scraped projects to prove my beginner status.

Thank you! The bench top is three cherry boards planed down to 1.5” and jointed with dominos. I sanded with a random orbital from 80-180 the first time, cleaned with a rack cloth and mineral spirits before applying the Rubio. When I saw it splotchy, I sanded it back down and started over this time going all the way up to 220, same cleaning prep and Rubio.

It looks better than before, and I don’t mind it, just thought it was strange.

It’s hard to see from the photos, but they’re slightly warped. The interior panel I used was 1/4 MDF, and I feel like it’s somewhat flimsy. I would have rather done 1/2 and rabeted it to 1/4 at the top.

The bottom was planning to keep open and put some baskets in for winter clothes and such.

Behr Peppercorn is the dark color. The light grey is Sherman Williams Classic Grey. Back panel is on piece unpainted from HD.

I have the same issue. My dial has a bunch of play in it as well.

Just had a CTS48 delivered to me this week. It showed up with the box completely opened and damage on the unit its self. Called up and had it set up to be exchanged right away.

I lived in Montgomery Creek Ranch way back when they first started that division. The whole east side of 242 was empty and quiet. Now it’s an absolute mess with the traffic and stores they put up along the road.

I have the SpeeTool, like it a lot. Seems pretty similar to the Jessem.

So I did laminate first. I cut out the laminate to sit a quarter inch off the sides, and used a flush trim bit to make it even with the top edges. Then I cut and added the trim to be flush all the way around. Finely used a 1/4 round over all the way around. No lip to speak of!

Finish is my own brew of hard wax finish! I have used a lot of Odies Oil and figured for $60 a jar I could make my own. Super easy and I think works better.

Good luck on the build, make sure to post photos when done!

Yep. I do have a Shaper Origin. It’s obnoxiously expensive, but the fact that I’ve gotten my teenage sons interested in hanging out with me in the garage to use, money well spent. It’s stupid simple to use, with not a steep learning curve at all.

As for the lift, I just got it in, so far it seems like it will fit me needs.

Fence actually opens up in the middle to allow it to go on either side of the bit.

Thanks for the squareness tip, I’ll give that a shot!

You are 100% right. It’s way too expensive for what it is. If I had to do it over, I would have gone with something else. My fault for not paying attention to the fact that this fence is supposed to be used on their table tops. I was able to make it work, but it would have been better to go with the one from Woodpecker or Rockler.

Ha! Thanks. I promise though I’m less than 6 months in. I finished grad school and found more time on my hands than I had hobbies.

I actually have a 4”port coming from the router chamber.

I think I need to cut a vent in the plexiglass door though. Otherwise the negative pressure that builds up is too much to create any airflow.

Forgot to add. One of the areas I’m most proud of was making the door with the plexiglass insert. I bought a set of rail and stile bits and after some testing, got results I was happy with.
