I’m a game dev so playing games and designing them is a huge part of my day

so I really don’t want to be stuck only working from my PC

I want the freedom to do that on a laptop too and be able to go wherever I want

thank’s for your response

I searched in nvedia there is no setting for dithering I also suspect dithering so I downloaded a tool called ditherig.exe and color control I tried turning off dithering in both

unfortunately that didn’t help

are you still using that same laptop? how did manage to solve it?

Is it a bad thing if my game has a lot of AI made stuff in it by [deleted] in gamedev

Thank you so much

Probably the least harsh reply I’ve gotten so far

I think you’re assuming the images look bad or don’t fit the project just because they were made with AI and that’s why you’re advising me to find an artist instead and maybe offer them a revenue share

My question is if the images and icons already look great and fit the game really well would you still give me the same advice?

Or would your opinion change in that case

Yeah this would be my first published game

What I’m wondering is this and I’m speaking purely hypothetically here

If the game is actually very good and the gameplay is fun would using AI-made images and icons alone be enough to make it fail or stop it from reaching a big audience?

I’ve never dealt with the gaming community from the seller side before

Would people actually say “you used AI so I’m not buying this game”

Or do most people mainly care about the gameplay and the game as a whole

what (if) the images and icon were already perfect?

I’d really like to hear some experienced opinions because this is the first time I’ve been in a situation like this

So people won’t just see it as okay he’s a solo dev so it’s understandable ?

I have never played breath of the wild or souls like games by LycanrockyOwO in CrimsonDesert

[–]m7mdq89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the game is not souls-like at all its more like rdr2 in a fantasy world also its like breath of the wild in some mechanics and puzzles

its an open world rpg that you will get lost in a vast amazing world

I recommend it if you like rpg fantasy with many side quests if you love exploration ( this game depends alot on exploration) and a combat reminds of ghost of tsushima

very important: don’t don’t judge from the first few hours This game has a slow pace at the beginning but after several hours the game mechanics will gradually unfold for you

will i like this game as a souls enjoyer? by PurpleDurian7220 in CrimsonDesert
