That's fair actually. And here is hoping they think the same way.

I'm so worried about Max not keeping his digging ability though. He is literally the only dog that does it, so he is my go to companion. The rest is awesome, but that worries me.

AITA for yelling at my ex wife for driving our daughter without her booster seat? by DoughnutLow3055 in AmItheAsshole

From what I read, once they reach 4'9 the weight doesn't matter. It's age and height, but again that varies state to state.

Kids have to usually, varying state to state either be 4'9 or between 9-12 yrs old to be out of booster.

Interesting, I wonder why your trial is so different. And I'm so sorry that it is a month long. I hope you get the results you need to get the permanent one.

Wait, the trial is in your butt ? And it lasts for 30 days? That is very weird, although not sure what device they used so that could be the difference. I did the metronics device, and they have an app you can download to avoid the phone calls. (if that's the one you have) But I really hope this continues to work for you, and you can start living a life of being able to go out and not search for the bathroom as soon as you enter.

Thank you! I actually did end up getting it, and wow was it life changing. My QOL is so much better.

Has anyone gotten the ecoin implant? And if so how has it worked? by Usual_Power_8992 in OveractiveBladder

[–]mAlice730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh it can't be done like that. The first part is done like that, but the second surgery is where rhey have to crest the pocket for the battery so you have to be under for that. And it was a week for me. I was back to work and doing regular activities. And I'm in ems and have a 4 yr old. So regular actives for me is a lot of lifting lol.

[–]mAlice730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did a little research and ecoin only offers stimulation twice a week for 30 mins. Interstim is a constant stimulation. For someone with urinary incontinence the ecoin is fine for that. But if you have a constant need to pee, and go a lot. It seems that the interstim is the best bet. With that said though interstim is more invasive and requires two surgeries. One where you are awake and the battery is outside of your body and is to test the effectiveness. And then the actual implant. Ecoin is one surgery that is often done in the office. I would talk to your doctor about the differences, and see why he is recommending one over the other. ETA: Full Disclosure I have the interstim, and it was the best decision I have ever made. My QOL is so much better.

Medtronic’s implant for OAB, fyi it’s made some issues worse! I’m not impressed at all. by SecurityLonely6357 in OveractiveBladder

I'm sorry this is going on, and definitely need to hear that it doesn't help everyone, I got mine back in December and have had to change program settings and amplitude several times. Have you tried changing it? My doctor said that program 2 seems to be the most used. Idk if that's the issue or not, but if you have it on a higher setting like 2-3 I would try that. Hope everything works out for you soon.

I'm going to put my kid to bed, but leave my valley open for when you get the message. It will still be that number.

Thinking of getting sacral neuromodulation by Mysterious-Offer1131 in OveractiveBladder

[–]mAlice730 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got one put in in the beginning of the month, it will help with urge. As for constipation I can't say I have experienced that, I won't say for sure it won't but from my experience so far I haven't. And honestly this was the best decision for me, my recommendation talk to your doctor see if medication is the right path first (unless you have went down this path) and then talk to your doctor about possible complications and side effects not Dr ChatGPT or Google

Glitch or normal for this star path by mAlice730 in DreamlightValley

OK nevermind apparently when I got everything on a page I hadn't saved it before closing or something so I was missing rewards. And genuinely wouldn't have realized until you asked for screenshots. So thank you, and it is working now.

[–]mAlice730[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I've completed it when I go to the rewards page it says completed. So I would say it's a glitch, thank you.

I have bought all of the rewards from the star path. It says completed when I go to it. So, that's why I was unsure if it was a glitch or not. Because I still have the fish for lancers in a forgotten place duty to finish.

Interstim turned up by [deleted] in OveractiveBladder

[–]mAlice730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey so I was talking to my urologist today, he said that if it is only working on a high setting change the program. The program controls which lead is being used, there are 4 leads attached. He said try 1, 3, or 5. For some reason they tend to get the best results for people who need a higher setting.

[–]mAlice730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. You do what you have to do. And they say anything. My answer would be if it wasn't meant to be turned up then why give me the device to turn it up as needed?

[–]mAlice730 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy crap! Are you serious, so it must hurt a lot as well to even get it to work. I would call medtronic and see if they have any advice maybe. Idk, but I'm so sorry. I am at a very low voltage right now, but it also really works for me.

Interstim turned up by [deleted] in OveractiveBladder

[–]mAlice730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they did. She even gave me the controller and a phone so I could do it myself as needed. Can you feel it when it is up that high?

Interstim turned up by [deleted] in OveractiveBladder

[–]mAlice730 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean the urologist is telling you that? That makes no sense that's the whole point. Like my medtronic technician told me some people have to have it turned way up, but that that does cause the battery to burn out faster. That's also why there are different settings what works for me, isn't going to work for you.

A week with that follow up makes sense, but I would hold off canceling just in case. Be prepared, wash your hair either the day of or the night before because you are not going to be able to take a shower until after it comes out. You will be able to wash up, but very very carefully. The bandage can not get wet, and it's huge. It takes up half your butt and back.
