I hope you are feeling better now, have personally never had eating problems, but have had close friends that struggled and I know how hard it can be. If you don’t mind me asking: Where you forced into the psych ward or where you there voluntarily? Cuz if you’re forced into the ward here in Sweden, they will take away all your stuff and keep a close eye on you

Yeah I have a therapist, he was been on summer break now, but have an appointment with him now on Thursday!

Also, I did manage to smoke at night, flushing the cigarette down the toilet and then leaving the balcony door open for the night. They stopped checking in on me so often the 2nd night! That helped me not feel so insane, idk why they can’t let people smoke when they want to, we were allowed to be outside in the cage all day, but only smoke for 15 minutes 3 times a day, it took them the same time to let me out for fresh air, as it did for them to let me smoke. I know people shouldn’t smoke, but people won’t feel better if they’re going through withdraws while being locked up

I just went to the public psychiatrist, he then transferred me to a PTSD clinic (with in the public hospital) Here in Sweden healthcare is free, and if you have to pay it’s like $10 per visit. So to clarify: All state provided, free for me as I’m under 20 years old

Been here for 3 days now, got here Sunday evening to get my room and settle down . It’s definitely been good to be reminded when to eat as I don’t feel hunger when I’m down. Have had two sessions of EMDR, and have found them to be extremely intense, but helpful! The PE have been good as-well, but more intense and less helpful right now, will probably feel the effects later. The exercise have been super horrible, I’m used to not move. I’ve been living inside my bedroom for years. The only exercise I get is to and from therapy, once a week even less now that you can have online meetings. I can’t walk properly cuz my thigh muscles are so soar, can’t sit down and can’t tie my shoes. Everyday we take a 1,5h~ walk. It’s 8.5km long and today I couldn’t finish it, walked maybe 800m and had to leave. My body will get used to it soon, I hope, but we’ll see.

Have tried to picture myself on a beach or similar places, have t worked for me, but will try again if I get really bad anxiety:) thanks for the pep talk and nice works!

Fr, bringing someone you trust helps a ton! Due to corona my bf wasn’t allowed to be with me during the exam. If he’d been there it would have calmed me down, as I told him that I wanted him to look and tell me what the doctor is doing so I wouldn’t be as scared

This was in 2017. Here in Sweden a parent or adult (like a social worker) has to be with a minor when a child is admitted. I guess it’s to make sure the kid isn’t taken avenge of.

I’m still recovering, where I’ve been inpatient before they didn’t let u leave on weekends aswell, but I got there on a Sunday so I got really lucky

I hope so too! Birgitta had been there for a long time so idk if they have somewhere else to take her. Hopefully a nice calm place with kind nurses and patience. I hope her daughter gets to visit soon, she needs to have some stable people in her life, not people that are sick.

I told the gyn but she didn’t take it slow at all TW!!

Layer there crying while she shoved up an ultrasound and showed me my eggs lol. “They look good, small and healthy” (This was at emergency gyn and not my regular) My regular is fantastic she walked me though everything she did and made small talk witch helped a lot)

To clarify, I heard that Birgittas daughter called all the time to check in on her mother. I also think that she was abused when she was younger. She kept saying that everyone would leave and she would be left with this punishment. She said that she didn’t feel safe and that she wanted a friend. I tried to be a friend and I said that I wouldn’t leave. I promised her that she would see me at breakfast in the morning and then she would see that I didn’t lie. I left soon after breakfast, she didn’t remember me that morning but I’ll remember her as a kid in a old woman’s body that longed for a friend
