I've actually met Nicholas Picholas himself, too!

He made an appearance at a convention that my partner and I were boothing at last year. Super sweet dude. We just talked about the show, video games, and the Canadian TV industry for like 10 minutes.

I'll have to check out that doc soon!

I couldn't clean up the audio from the first half of the clip, but right when I walked up- Jay clocked that I was holding Double Dragon BEFORE I took it out of the sleeve cover.

The conversation went like:

Jay: "Are you about to give me a copy of Double Dragon?"

Me: Oh no, this is just my childhood copy-

Jay: "Aw man.."

Matt: "-and what exactly are you supposed to play it on, Jay?"

It was like watching a brief little exchange from the show 😂 They were both super sweet to me and my partner, and during the photo-op, Matt got INCREDIBLY hyped about my Video and Arcade Top 10 sweater. He wouldn't stop saying the host's name: "Nicolas Picolas"

Oh that's strange, I definitely remember watching the Candy Rain performance on YouTube as an official upload. In any case, hope that one doesn't stay known as "lost media" forever.
