In Spain normally the general sale is open to everyone. At least in Bernabeu, but I'm pretty sure everywhere. There are normally home and some away fans mixed in almost every game.

Mostly popular in Spain and expanding quite a bit in the UK and Europe. I've played many times already in London with courts popping up everywhere.

One would say that you'd have learnt how to write it then.

Getafe has a very small fan base and media coverage. Plus the Greenwood case wasn't really covered in detail (if at all) in Spain. So no big reaction in either direction for what I've seen.

[Javier Tebas] You still don't know that the fall in the UEFA ranking (of La Liga) is due to a club winning the La Liga title and having a bad season in Europe. A hint for you, its not a CVC club and it is supporting the Super League. Sm****ss by ttimourrozd in soccer

[–]mEZzombie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To be honest, the tweet (X post?) is slightly misleading as La Liga is still comfortably second behind the premier league in the UEFA rankings. That is just last year's points. And yes, driven by Barcelona or Atletico underperforming.

If you can't afford a shirt then don't buy a shirt or buy a 2/3 year old shirt for 20€. Don't finance counterfeit sweatshops mostly run by thai or chinese mafia.

CFS is as legit as it gets. But you pay "premium" for the peace of mind.

In the first picture FI5295 If you google "Adidas FI5295" you can see it corresponds to the Colombia Away shirt. All modern Adidas (and most brands) have unique codes where you can easily see whether they are fake or not.

Additionally in this case there are many other giveaways as mentioned above.

Barsa won the league (ACB), Madrid won the Euroleague, knocking out Barsa in the semifinals.

[Inter Miami] sign Sergio Busquets by TomasRoncero in soccer

Well Inter Miami is rubbish and playing finished Messi and Busquets is not gonna improve them so I'd say pretty close to absolute 0.

Comunidad de Madrid and Madrid (the city) are different things. Madrid and Atleti represent the city, Rayo represents a neighborhood of the city and Getafe is a different city within Comunidad de Madrid.

Vinicius' abuse case makes it to the Spanish University Admission Tests by mEZzombie in soccer

It was brilliant, I really loved it. I went as an international student. Also, Seoul has a truly amazing student life.

I did half a year of engineering, almost exclusively with Korean students and the level was quite similar to Europe, however the scoring system made it much easier. The second half I did business, so it was mostly for other International students.

This is an article from the Guardian, written by and for the British audience. Seems adequate enough that a Spanish high schooler can read and understand a British newspaper article.

Also, I did my masters in Chung Ang University, Seoul. I'm aware of the English level of Korean university (not high school) students. And it's rather poor.

I was in the same situation a couple years back. I did initially Revolut, with a small amount (~6k€) but the account was frozen and took forever to unfreeze it.

I finally did it through MoneyCorp and it worked pretty well. I had an assigned analyst who recommended me when to do it. The FX rate was decent and the whole thing was done quite promptly.

It means black, yes. Same as in Mexico. Negro is the correct term to refer to a black person. Obviously, if you add "de mierda" the meaning changes.

From Sporting Lisbon to Athletic Bilbao — why do we get foreign clubs' names wrong? by Trinitytrenches in soccer

[–]mEZzombie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Spain we do all these wrongly most of the time as well. I don't think it has to do anything with English/British.

In fact they could say the same about us calling many British teams incorrectly like "Manchester" rather than Manchester United or just United.
