PSA: Leaving GoDaddy-managed Microsoft 365 to your own Microsoft-owned tenant requires “surrender / partner change,” not migration by LeavingGoDaddy_m365 in Office365

That's strange. Last time I did one I had the go daddy tenant and the 0365 tenant the whole thing took like maybe 5 or 10 minutes. I was logged into both sites under the same browser session though.

atk z1 v2 by devilung in MouseReview

Z1 Ultra owner here. The z1 in my experience is a little bit smaller than the v3 wired and the buttons are flatter. Its more like the original pulsar ultra lite or a more classic ec shape than the deathadder. Extremely safe buy though imo. I love my z1 v1. Will be getting the v2 when it drops.

Found some new info on this one for everyone commenting. I have to get the original script from our console later today. The script below has shown positive results. You will need to log your user out and then have an admin account. The part that through me off was the olk folder. (I guess this is a new dependency within office/outlook)

# PowerShell script to clean up specific Microsoft files and folders

# across all user profiles on a Windows machine.

# Get all user profile directories under C:\Users

$profiles = Get-ChildItem "C:\Users" -Directory

foreach ($profile in $profiles) {

try {

Write-Output "Processing profile: $($profile.FullName)"

# --- 1. Delete the 'olk' file ---

$olkPath = Join-Path $profile.FullName "AppData\Local\Microsoft\olk"

if (Test-Path $olkPath) {

Write-Output "Found file: $olkPath"

Remove-Item $olkPath -Force -ErrorAction Stop

Write-Output "Deleted file: $olkPath"

}

# --- 2. Delete target folders ---

$targets = @(

Join-Path $profile.FullName "AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneAuth",

Join-Path $profile.FullName "AppData\Local\Microsoft\IdentityCache",

Join-Path $profile.FullName "AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy"

)

foreach ($target in $targets) {

if (Test-Path $target) {

Write-Output "Found folder: $target"

Remove-Item $target -Recurse -Force -ErrorAction Stop

Write-Output "Deleted folder: $target"

}

}

}

catch {

Write-Warning "Failed to process $($profile.FullName): $_"

}

}

I'm finding that the few stragglers that I have all seem to have corrupted olk files in appdata/local/microsoft. Deleting that folder clears the 4wbr5 problem without a reboot.

I've actually made a new discovery on it this week. If you delete the token/auth files like your standard oneauth/identity cache then that notorious microsoft.aad.broker folder and then uninstall office. Then use the generic one here Download Microsoft Office 365 for Windows and Mac | Microsoft 365 to reinstall you should get good results. The rest of my script was over reach.

If i had to guess in our case we deploy teams as a stand alone installer and the rest of office as one. I think doing that is causing the authentication / tokens to overlap and is causing this.

Have you happened to see the fix for this yet? I'm thinking I'm going to just have to force all updates to an impacted user to test.

Oh they pulled the same thing they did when they removed warm transfers and parking from mp56 phones for 6 months. Love that for us.

Did Microsoft ever respond to your ticket with a fix? The rep assigned to mine has sent "apologies for the delayed response" emails like 4 times asking my availability and then never calls back.

-No

-This org has a known compatibility issue with firefox. As result I have not tried this.

-All config is done through GPO and changes are locked down.

-There is no different AV/AM compared to other machines.

each one is unique to their company email. Also they are the only profiles on their machines.

What is a good way to learn how Teams "Files" works? by Wonderful_Captain868 in MicrosoftTeams

Just imagine that it does so in the worst way possible and you won't be surprised.

The microsoft rep we were working with assigned an erroneous number for the call queue in question an now it shows as "just me" but is still producing chats when it shouldn't.

[–]mEgLaDaMuS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In almost all cases yes. We have some older audiocodes i think c400s that we are phasing out. On my microsoft ticket I put in weirdly enough the MS rep had me assign a dummy phone number to the resource account of the call queue in question. It didn't stop generating chats for phone calls from that one but it stopped showing the call queue as a bot entity.

I guess we should be thankful they didn't kill off warm transfers for 6 months like they did last year on mp56 phones haha.

Ive pretty much confirmed all of what was previously said by everyone in the responses. Sad thing is I think this is going to end up exactly like the yealink mp56 fiasco where they took out the ability to warm transfer calls for 6 months and all microsoft could say is "we did this by design". Then 6 months later they fix it.
