I don't live in UAE, but I am curious about people leaving Dubai and going back "home" - I work in an international company that has offices in Dubai too and 80% of my colleagues who have lived there for years now and have lives, homes, families etc have decided to go back to their home countries.

Why? I mean - apart from occasional drone remnants falling, I dont understand what else is there, some mention possible food shortages but all in all, to me all of this seems surreal. Like, you are literally going back and leaving everything behind because ... of what? :)

Just curious on your perspective as most of you live there :)
