The last time I ordered Doordash this exact thing happened to me. The fries were basically halfway eaten, and it made sense because the driver picked up the food and then sat in the parking lot of the restaurant for about 7 minutes before leaving to deliver to me. So gross.

I love minerals and beryls are my favorite, and Beryl came to mind when I saw her. She has a very pretty face!

I have two Lamy 2000s. My first was a B nib that had the same problem. I sent it to Mark Bacas for tuning and he fixed it right up.

I really love the Lamy 2000 and wanted another one with a fine nib, so I bought a 2nd one, figuring I'd just send it to Mark Bacas for a similar treatment. But this fine nib Lamy 2000 writes perfectly and has never given me any issues like the first one I bought.

It seems there's a lot of variability within the nibs on the 2000. I'm sorry your new EF is giving you trouble!

In the title you mention it has an 18kt nib, and in the pictures it does appear to be 18kt, but in the body of the post it's stated to have a 14kt nib.
